  1. So..... why own some modern garbage subject to this foolishness?!? Get off MY lawn you new-age yong-un! I'll stick with my 1980's GM's and my military hardware. GD
  2. ordered strong arm brand through local Advance Auto. after their BF discount, turns out same price as through WalMart 3rd party seller every day. great return policies for both.
  3. https://www.subarubatterysettlement.com/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnA_zN6IACc I already had SOA replace a rear gate sensor on our 2019 that was reported to create a constant drain, especially if the gate was left open. There's more and more "features" of readiness that can result in drain on battery aside from speculation that the batteries are undersized as the youtube video above suggests. I am really old school and recall as a kid that we would turn the TV on a few minutes before watching to give it a chance to warm up, Enuf said, now get off my lawn 😉
  4. Looking for a blinker cam and lever like the one pictured for my '80 Brat.
  5. similar situation here in WI - not a lot from the 80s, or before, survives here, and the ones that are still around have collector plates on them and only get driven in the summer months. Heck, not a lot from the 90s still on the road around here.
  6. EJ22 stripped down. Dizzy fitted. Hope I times it right though it's a lot easier with an offset slotted keyway than trying to align a toothed EA dizzy gear. Coolant crossover removed as the low carby manifold has an integrated crossover. Factory Subaru EJ18 carby and manifold. Will put this on to get it running before attempting the twin carb setup. This setup should be plug and play into my factory carb Omega wagon (Gertie). Carby manifold gasket sitting on the ej22 head. You can see how the contour of the port differs between the Carby head (round, matches the gasket) and the injected head (has an indent for the injector). There appears to be enough overlap that the Carby manifold should bolt on using new injected gaskets. Carby vs injected manifold gaskets
  7. Damn it's nice to hear from you Rob! I'm glad you are ok. Very nice work on your EJ - RX!
  8. Awesome ride man. I wish my RX was as clean as yours! Might have to get some advice from you on drive train upgrades.
  9. Interesting way of tidying up the engine bay! I’ll be keen to see what it looks like once the engine is back in. Will they be east to remove with the engine in place (I’m sure you’ve got this covered!)? Cheers Bennie
