im looking at these wheels for my wagon (six lug) 15x7 " and they have 4 inches offset....too much? i plan on running 28" tires sooo........? and will this help for clearing the tire rubbing issue since they'll stick out further?

thanks for the tire thread guys....my choices have come down to 215/75/15 bridgestone dueler M/T's 215/75/15 BFG mud terrains or go to les schwab and look at their tires...what seems like the best tire (duel purpose wise) the duelers look like they'd last at least 40,000 miles thanks to posts at tirerack.com whatcha think?

i was thinking on how could you put something dome shaped (about 3/8 of an inch) so i could just use regular lugnuts.....any ideas on how i could do this without making a metal mold?....maybe a mold for jbweld?

well to tell you the truth id like a good enough job done that i could do it with a weber on:grin: but i dont have a weber yet and i dont want to risk failing it.....so to do a really good job without stabbing my wallet id like to do it for about 100$$ 120$$ somewhere in there

i have an Ea81 wagon(stock engine) with a 2.25 catless custom exaust. this thing sound awesome and perfroms excellent. but there is no way its gonna pass smog....i was gonna go to an exaust shop and have them install a cat....so 1. how much do you think its gonna cost to get one installed and 2. whats that going to do to my power?

mike, you should do what i was thinking of doing.......convert it over to 4sp d/r and lift it and go mob the thing......dont junk it please, they are pretty rare cars and if you were just gonna junk it, at least, AT LEAST, go wheel it a little....i might have a 2 in lift for you in a couple months. shoot me a pm please....i got yahoo IM too -Dalton

i have a bad carb(wont run at all on idle) so thats probably not helping either

i took it for a drive, adjusting only the clutch cable and it doesnt shake as bad??????? ...hmmmm ill check some mounts

come to think of it..it does feel like there is a little less power, the engine isnt really sputtering under throttle tho

the whole car shakes but its the engine thats shaking and when im driving i can feel it too.

my ultimate goal is to convert a 2 door Ea81 coupe into 4sp. d/r.......when i do the conversion will the mustache bar / rear frame bolt right up or do i have to drill some holes?

i did some rock bashing and when the car idles at low RPM and moderatly high revs...it seems to shake pretty hard. i was told that it could be an exaust problem. i saw some noticalbe dents where the exaust come out the heads. i have a custom 2.25 in exaust from Y back and no cat....ehlp me with this people
