Level B service roads, yay, unmaintained, after some warm ice melting days, should be fun.
  4. so you got a new battery, that is dead. thought that only happens from wal mrat.
  5. 91 thru 94 fronts will work, and all the way thru 1999 fronts i believe can be used. the 91 had a specific rear struts, just for that 1 year. Rear struts only from 1991
  6. automatic eh..... Either get a good battery in there, or check, double check, triple check the electrical connectors to the trannsmission, there are two larger connectors, up by the firewall transmission top area. Recent transmission work? The auto tranny has to have electrical charge, and if the connector to it is not fully seated, it will cause this, trust me, i Had it happen once too.
  7. beginning to realize i should get some spare keys made for a few of my fleet. Anybody have parts numbers so I can give Jason a call... everything from 83-85 gl's legacy's and svx what was the cool key that had the built in light?
  8. as far as I am aware, the WRX rear brakes are a downgrade to the vented 91 turbo rear brakes...... sounds like something with the struts good luck will check back in on the thread.. wait, you just put the calipers on the backs....that means you stayed with the turbo brake rotors, which is probably too big for the wrx caliper.
  9. its in the yard here. ask subiemech85 about it, he got parts off the car. like i said, dont call them they dont know what they got. Car is there, 5pd DR with 144k on the clock.
  10. Is that a new Ford? Never heard of the sucof before
  11. I would rather pay 100 for a interstate and have it last 7 years plus, than pay 63 for a walmart and have to deal with their service desk for replacement in 2 or 3 years.
  12. the wal mart Maxx is BAD. I have had 2 of them bad, one was bad the first week i had it. The other stopped taking a charge after about 5 months. They paid consumer reports to rate it high.
  13. sounds well worth a call. But, if they are really trying to get a Sti with that money from the sell, they should reconsider that the Sti have motor failure, and this motor would be the replacement of top choice to go in a sti
  14. that is sad. bad luck. hope you can get glass on the cheaps. note to self, do not store car under a temp tent. make sure you store it under something better if you can.

  18. i almost hit my tree backing out. then i almost hit the house.. its pure glazed ice that is rutted, cant steer thru this crap even. wherever the car wants to go it will,. hope i dont crash. thats backing out the little hill. pulling in, well brakes are useless as well as steering wheel. just close eyes, and dont hit something.

  20. so you pulled a distri for me, too late i ordered a rebuilt rockauto special. Will see if it fits lol apparently they dont have right parts.. so will see.... hey the rescued wagon is runnning nice now......if i can get it registered soon, it will be a goo driver to go get parts in. DM is still pretty far, but in the SVX i can get there in 10 minutes, minus any cops on I_80 for iowa, us boys have lots of stuff in the works bh
  21. Thanks SubieMech85. He came over to pick out a hitch, and the legacy hitch not even close to fit a EA82 and the civix hitch nogo. Dennis worked in the sub 20 degree tempts and we got the timing set to 10 on the rescued gl. Also had fun driving it and we exchanged a few test drives. I think he likes ny 92ss. Think the rescued wagon likes the brat donated organ. Today, I ordered 300 bucks in parts to put the Brat back together. Distri, clutch kit, rear main oil filters for the svx the brat the legacy and brat/gl and etc. Thanks subiemech85
