  1. CCR is in Denver near the Merchandise Mart area off I-25
  2. wonder how well this keeps steady speed. my foot is down all the way going up hills, and letting off down the hills. I cant hold a steady speed in my Brat.
  3. cool, the Grizz lives on. lets see those pictures neighbor.

  5. I already posted, but I am sort of pissed off that these "technology" wonders in cars are forced onto us. Manufacturers charge the buyer in the long run, for all the tests costs etc involved, and yet again, it is stuff not needed. Just like airbags. If you wear your seatbelt correctly, airbags really do more harm than good. autoleveling headlights, really suck on the roads around here. et etc rant, and tires that monitor air pressure, what a waste. enuf said. sorry to ramble on other things
  6. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SUBARU-HEATER-VALVE-ASSY-1800-MODELS-80-84_W0QQitemZ230254483426QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item230254483426&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A64%7C66%3A4%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318#ht_547wt_0 when you replace it, forget about trying to reuse the subaru hokie clamps, get a couple regular hose clamps and it will be eeasier.
  7. small drop on the duct eh? i say the valve is where you leak is. get the car to temp, and with the temp selector, change it from cold to hot and back and forth, see if you can see the drips while changing temps.
  8. on the drivers side near the gas pedal, there will be a black plastic cover, it snaps into and outta place, kinda trick to get it out. then you can see the levers, and rods and valve, up by the footfeet near the center.
  9. hmm, drill hole in side.....drain. weld shut. i dunno, there are clutches and crap in there but anyone know if that would work.
  10. yep, on pure ice, even slightly on the brakes and all 4 will lock up and you will be off on a nice little slide. better just to downshift at the point and get the speed down. abs= mostly evil. if there is no time to downshift, just try to ease off the throttle and try to keep the car going straight, or around the obstical.
  11. could just be the heater valve. they are easy to change sort of and Ebay can be had for 49.99 new. the green gator-aid looks like coolant, but it sure tastes better.
  12. due to the snow reports of getting between 2 and 8" tonight, along with 40mph winds and DRIFTS , I put my snows on yesterday. Took me a while to find the subaru lugnuts. I found 2 full sets of Honda Lugnuts, wrong thread, then finally found the box of Subaru lugnuts... All Set for some serious snow now. lets go play, i will grab my toe rope and the come along for pulling someone out.
  13. could be a bad new battery had that happen enough times, happens when you have 5 cars.- i will never buy a battery from wal mart again. got 2 bad ones there in the last 2 years.
  14. holy crap . what is happening to make the shaft housing break apart like this?
  15. just have to tap one side, usually the one near the battery. groundwire battery hot wire to dash accesory switch switched wire to the indicator bulb wire, with a wire nut, that goes to switch doing it this way, you can have the dash accessory switch off, no lights or switch on, and the lights come on when park lights on, and of course with headlights on.
  16. my wagon rear wiper got enough rust build up it slowed it down, then one day no workie. took the arm off, sprayed wd-40 in ther, switch on, it finally came to life.
  17. i always tap the wire to the side driving lights.....make sure not the turn light.
  18. +1 for correct parts. -you mean i can't put a 15" tire on a 16" rim lol doh.
  19. just got my plates for the svx number on plate begins 154 xxx just so happens that 154 number means something to the 92 svx ls-l. what does it mean?
