Injectors dropping out when engine warm? Help!!!
bheinen74 replied to tuppscivic's topic in Subaru Retrofitting
is your timing belt 100% on the correct spot- sounds similar to when a ej22 is one tooth off time, -
You need a good 1/2" breaker bar, a can of PB Blaster to soak the rust for a few days, pair of needle nose pliers for the cotter key, socket to fit nut and breaker bar, punch to remove roll pin, etc. torque Wrench to finish the new install axle nut. Probably a cheater pipe for the said breaker bar.

Help! My brat is dead on the side of the road.
bheinen74 replied to Wirebrush's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
clogged fuel filter perhaps. -
Why do people prefer oiling the bottom of a car vs undercoating? I prefer undercoatiing/por 15, as it drys. Once its dry, i can drive gravel roads and the underbody stays clean, no dirt getting trapped in places that need to drain water out. what about oiling, doesnt that cause sand, dirt, dust to gather, therefore, holding salts and stuff from the road, vs falling off.
-
i prefer undercoating, since it is not all messy to work under a car....but the experts should reply. lets start a new topic on the oiling of the cars... I just started a new topic thread on this.

think the pictures are from the original seller, which was asking 12k for. my Brat looked similar but with 118k miles, i paid 2800 came with topper (overpaid for all the replacments needed). now, look at mine....would i trade, yeah, but i wouldnt lift hers. Mine will be rusting away in a few years, oh well...its fun and the looks i get when driving it......
