  1. Mick, I assume that his behind the seat pouch is a non-oem part?
  2. Gloyale, that is a good idea. Maybe somebody was in a dire need of bearings and had some 2WD control arms laying around and threw them on and pulled the rear axles.
  3. I got behind one today and thought to myself how if Subaru had made the Baja like that there would be more of them running around. Hell, I would even drive a Ridgeline if given to me.
  4. It is been a year, chances are the issue was resolved since he isn't regular here anymore.
  5. Here is a preview of the goodness: How did you rig that hanging pouch up behind your seats? I never thought of putting one of them there.
  6. Which kinds of plants you been talking to?
  7. I wish I was at the beach, I hate this time of year. I love the look of an 84 wagon.
  8. If I had a garage and needed to get that out, I would have just borrowed a couple of space heaters and some extension cord and left it sitting for a while. Was that an option?
  9. I did the exact same thing in my hatchback coming home from a friend's house after a spring rain one day. I had a date and was excited and forgot that the hatch had touchy brakes.
  10. Greetings from Crossville. What specific vacuum hose was leaking?
  11. +1 Go out there and turn the inside fan all the way up, headlights on bright, and windshield wipers on. That will give you plenty of load on the system to do an adequate check. It sounds like you got it worked out though.
  12. I have similar experiences with my Brat. I learned that you can't baby these things or they will walk all over you. You just got to get in and drive it like there is no tomorrow and it will do just fine.
  13. I remember seeing this a few months ago, but still had to watch it again. I still think they went farther out on the US spec Brats than anywhere else in the world.
  14. I plan to attend this May. http://www.rallytennessee.com/2008/
  15. I like the emblem in the center of the trunk, has the 06 year influence there. If you had a good bit of money, the STi 6 speed would be a great fix for the infamous 5MT trannys. Also the 02 STi hood scoop looks awesome on those, see the picture I took of my good friend's. Otherwise, I am jealous. I remember when I was 14 and fell in love with the WR Blue Pearl 02 WRX at the dealer. I am buying one whenever I get done with the higher education endeavors.
  16. Brumby= Brat. In some places such as Australia, New Zealand to name a few called it this.
  17. Look on the bright side, you have a hydraulic lifter motor that don't require valve adjustments. 85 was the last year they did the seats. This is on the top of the page and is an invaluable resource: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/brats/Brats.pdf
  18. Don't put off replacing the alternator or you will end up paying for a tow truck and then doing the replacement.
  19. Let's see some pics of that UK Brat.
  20. I had mice eat through my crank sensor not once, but twice! Then I left a bag of Werther's Candy in my Brat and there is still pieces of shredded golden wrappers in there.
  21. Might want to give http://www.nasioc.com a good searching as that is the Impreza hotspot.
  22. If I recall correctly, it addresses this issue in your owner's manual to be normal.
  23. What is that about a 95 Legacy? Yes, I laughed very hard.
  24. I can't wait to hear what one of these sounds like with an opened up exhaust.
