  1. pop it out NOW,IF YOU WAIT it will not come out very well,you can buy the color for the bumper[factory color] in a spray can at your local auto paint supplier. i guess at this time feel lucky they wasnt about 3 inches higher,real bummer,headlights are high.
  2. where did all the shavings go when you drilled and tapped for the heli cor?
  3. back in the 70s i dont remember who offered the kit but you got a jug[looked like a recovery tank] some hose and a adjustable valve,you ran the hose out of the jug to the valve to a vacum line on carb,some people raved at super gas milage,remember how good your car runs on a rainy day? dont know.
  4. i dont think this would be carbon but might be called soot,a nice drive down the interstate would probbally do it. ed

  6. im going to email you every 30 days and remind you to tighten spark plugs.
  7. you can tell if its the trans by letting it idle with clutch out,then push clutch in,if noise stops its in the tran.
  8. be sure to remove the cover inside the cargo area under the carpet and unhook the fuel pump connector before you start,run car until it dies,still will be a little pressure.i had to slip a pocket knife blade under them to get them out,i presoaked with kroil.
  9. im sure glad you said it first,i was afraid everybody would jump me,but you are exactly right.
  10. when the engine is cold it runs in a closed loop meaning all the programing is the same in the puter when cold[no sensors are being used at this time]after it warms up it goes to puter,then when sensors are bad this is where it shows up.
  11. if this is done right all the door panels[inside] must be removed.these must be reinstalled with new fasteners if not you get rattles,loose pull handles,bad connections on electric windows etc.dont think its worth the extra money and the hassles that come afterwards.
  12. another thing to look for,my old 85 had this habit on one side,i found it to be not sealed very well.i took clear silicon and went around all sealed places,worked for me.
  13. all the books say it is under pass side floor above your feet under glove box,but others say it is under steering wheel.
