  1. One,I need to hit the NH region sort of soon.Anyone up that way that wants to meet up let me know. Two,"NEED" to hit the Pine Barrens and "NEED" to hit the junkyards of eastern PA,with the likes of Harry's in Hazelton, the Rt. 61 places, and maybe Allentown on the way out or way back. Pine Barrens in south Jersey is moderate sandy trails with occassional nasty stuff. If you don't have 4WD most likely you can still go through or park at the entrance and go in with someone else. "NEED" means needed for the spirit of doing it,nothing else. Anyone else interested? Neo,you feeling better yet?
  2. Hey everybody, just wanted to start a fire over here. We over in the historic forum have already successfully had one group buy for windshield gaskets and are currently distributing our second order as a group. Now we have a weatherstripping/door seal order builing and it got me thinking of you guys over here.We had several Gen II Brat and EA81 car inquiries but we were unable to help them. Those gaskets and seals are still avalible from PRP,who we have an established relationship with. If you folks can get yourselves together you'd likely save a solid $30+++ per windshield gasket each if you put in an order of 25 or more. Another reason for getting you folks involved is an ongoing discount.Your cars and Brats are going to need everything ours are now,or soon will be.If you folks intoduce more orders to PRP it'll only help us all around. If anyone has other suppliers to consider please let us all know. Something to consider if you assume your aging Subaru to be a collectible Classic.
  3. Now you're talkin',baby!!! I will gladly cover whatever we determine we need per Stage II wagon TIMES TWO.So if you need say 75 ft. per wagon then I want 150 ft.,at least. There's another Stage II project in the coming years. And,if we get Stage I again,I'll cover 2 times a fourdoor. That should cover the fourdoor and the coupe. No other stage I on the horizon, but I think one day I'm going to get a Stage I 4WD wagon again. Paypal all loaded up right now.Or a check or M/O...let me know. We doing a group buy and someone distributing or each order drop shipped from the supplier or what?
  4. You guys are doing more to scare people away than attract them.
  5. thanks,I'll really try,but it's kind of unliely right now. Just too busy no matter which way I turn lately.Otherwise I'll make some trip up there for some reason....maybe camp a night with my son or the family...make the rounds.I also have to get to that guy Skip's place in NH.
  6. :-\ Sorry to see that.Good luck with it.Hope you're OK
  7. We need a Stage I (72-77) and stage II (77-79 and to 81 for Brat). Let's get serious about a bulk purchase of each because without question EVERY Stage I car will need them regardless of where you live or the conditions. And soon, every Stage II vehicle will need them too. We've kicked this around in the last couple of years and now it's time to just DO IT. So,whoever checks any stock, please check on each style. We hope to have a cross section of each.I'll try to remember my camera since I have both styles. The PRP catalog lists many styles as well.Maybe they have a match for us.If so,we are already established with them as a group.
  8. A little short notice, but maybe next year for me.Too much happening already.Sounds like a great event that I'd love to attend.
  9. Right on,Rob! Good luck,Connie. No more excuses!!! Get that freakin car done! Let me know if you need any help. Thanks for bringing the Y-pipe down! We'll catch up on the hood(s?) and all when I make it up for the cookout.
  10. Antique Subarus? Is Subaru of New England involved?
  11. I've always wanted to hit Munson. $55 to enter???
  12. Check you other post and please refrain from double posting. Thanks
  13. Count me in for Stage I or Stage II '72-79 cars. Not sure of footage yet,but we need to do a group buy,for sure.
  14. Dan,I'll check for you.No sweat, take your time getting down here if you need to.Charlie's stuff will probably be there a couple more months. Parts to sell or toss will be set up front in the new storage bay so I'll be listing them as I can get to them.No problem shipping, but I am SLOW sometimes.:-\
  15. Hey everyone....you suck! Actually,I don't blame you all for not making it by.You're all very busy and the gas prices limit our roadgoing activities these days. But,you guys have missed out on lots of stuff already, just want to run this by you all one more time before I have it all moved myself. I'm about 80% done!!!!!!! If you can come by,help even a little or even just show up to browse through boxes of items I'm discarding you'd almost surely benefit if you own an EA81 or EA82 car. There's just a few more loads of boxes and loose parts like rear diff's.,etc. that need to go over to the new location. Still do need help with the large items like the chest freezer, washer, dryer, plow,my old Ducati, and a 15ft. mast-which I can probably lash down to the roof rack. If you have time tomorrow-Sunday-let me know and maybe we can get together. Still need to put up more shelving at the new location. So,if you want to help me out there that's a great help too.I have all my tools there so you don't even need to bring yours.Basic carpentry, sometimes just need a second set of hands.Going to try to use the rain sessions to do that work. There might be a shower later today.Or I'll get there in the evening and work when its cooler. The new location should be really sweet once I have all the shelving up and make room up front for the '73 and hopefully one of the wagons too.
  16. Sounds great doing a Harry's run,the drive down I-81  ,state park type cookout thing.Easy to smooth in a day, even stayover since my son will want to go and do some fishing, etc. Maybe later in the year? Right now it's too crazy for me to commit to a weekend cookout unless I get there way later in the day. Hey,I heard there's some guy here who's moving in CT and has a heap of '80-89 Subaru parts for free.
  17. Spur of the moment decision.Son wanted to make a run.Keeping the kids happy is what its all about. So three kids aged 9,21,and 44 ran off into the wood in funky old Subarus. Neo didn't make it to Carlsile, and I didn't ask him to try to attend trail run on such short notice, and with him still recovering.
