  1. I'm not sure. I have never driven an auto Subaru. Both mine and all the ones i've test drove were manuals. I don't think it should really make a clunk...but I don't know for sure.
  2. http://cobbtuning.com/legacy/powerpackages.html#muffler It will...if it is made for it. Check them out.
  3. Is it an auto? Because if so, it pretty much is a FWD car until it slips.
  4. Yeah...my front brakes were toast. Got new roters and pads and all is well.
  5. It may be the brakes. It seems to always happen on left turns and then driving...but when turning right it does not do it as much. I am going to have my brakes checked out tomorrow.
  6. I'll check them this afternoon...but it does not sound like a chirping tire or sliding tire...you know what I mean?
  7. There is a squeeking/squeeling sound coming from my front driver side tire area when I am turning. Does not happen all the time, but most of the time. Any ideas? Wheel bearing? CV joint?
  8. CEL was coming off and on at the time, but I believe it was the coolent temp sensor. He may need new gas tank sensor thingers...it seems to be a common problem...but mine worked after I did it and I have not had any other problems in over 1 1/2 years.
  9. This happend in my Legacy. I filled the tank up...until it was almost coming out...then it worked...and has not stopped since. Its worth a try.
  10. I have been thinking about when my exhaust system goes of getting a catback. Ask whoever provides the warrenty if it will void it. And with the K&N...just do a search. You will get no extra power, more small particles in the engine, etc. Some claim they get power and stuff...I dunno...but I don't think its worth it. If you really want the car to last...use OEM filters. If anything, do a real cold air intake system. You might see some extra power then.
  11. I paid $5900 for my 96 OBW with 90,000 miles on it. It is a 2.2l manual. Had the one you're looking at had the gaskets done yet? There is a 96 OBW auto with bad gaskets for sale up the road from me for $3500. It has 135k miles. Tell them no, and in a few weeks if its still for sale, go offer $4500 or something.
  12. My OBW would redline at like 120-something MPH...but i've only done like 115 tops in it...didn't seem to want to go any faster.
  13. There is an Import yard on Rt. 19 just north or Zelienople. It is called Wagners something or other. They have like 10 or so newer Subarus and on the other side of the yard some older ones.
  14. 215,000-ish on my 95 Legacy. All original except brakes, clutch, tires, battery, windshield, filters, fluids, and maybe some other basic things.
  15. Because you can't leave them on accidently. Or maybe its because they forget to turn them off
  16. i'm thinking they are aimed wrong. They hit the fog and make it like driving in fog with my high beams on...its weird.
  17. I do that The only time I dont use them us when its foggy...it makes a glair on my windshield it seems
  18. On I-90 in NY going to Buffalo, there are signs saying 'if your windshield wipers are on, your headlights must be on.' That is awesome. It will be raining so hard here some afternoons...can't see a thing...and people dont have headlights on. Makes me mad as hell. I love how when my cars go off, the headlights go off. At work I drive a Ford E-450, and learned to turn the lights on and off...its not hard to do...and it makes you su much more visible. Headlights should be manditory. You can't set times...because it can be pitch black outside when it rains at 1pm. Just do it...its safe. Another thing that upsets me...if peole who DRIVE with their PARKING lights on. :-\
  19. Don't be a douche. I think it should be a law you must always have your lights on. Start giving out small fines for it and then all would be well.
