  1. I think the impreza looks sharp like that. Probably pretty fast too. Looks like someone spent a lot of time and money putting it together. Rice could also be putting RX body kits on your plain old turbo loyales. Anything J.C. whitney.
  2. ea81 is the name for the 1800 engine that came in that body style. ea71 is the 1600, it may have that engine instead if it's a DL. A 1982 wagon will have the part you are looking for, never mind if it has an ea81 engine in it or not. Grab the radius arm too. The one you have has been banana'd and bent back straight.
  3. Come see it. No big pics till it's on the road. That should be Tues or Weds. Had to change the avatar since the tan one is no longer mine.
  4. Get a load of that avatar! Told you this one's gonna look good!
  5. The arm you need is indeed one from any ea81. FWD or 4WD.
  6. Cool, we'll work on the wrench. Glad to know it made it. THought it would. That would make me 6 for 6 when it comes to sending lifted soobs across the country!
  7. The tan hatch left for Colorado this morning. I actually had that one for more than a year, a record for me. I'll change my avatar when I get back from the cabin. You guys are really gonna love the new hatch. It already sits on a 4/3. Just waiting for me to lengthen the brake lines. It's short a block for the rear and a bolt, they're on the way. Pics when it's done.
  8. Jess wondering if they'll fess up. . .
  9. Someone must have. Can't think of a reason why he'd quit posting. Fess up. . .
  10. That was Qman's old hatch. He'd be the guy to ask. I assume you are trying to get a better look at the snorkel.
  11. I won't go into price and cost, but here's what I had to do to get Bob into shape after I bought it. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/offroad/august2002/PDC_0112.JPG http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/offroad/august2002/PDC_0149.JPG http://community.webshots.com/photo/37919799/60788769eqYlqp headlights bulb for 3rd eye headlightbezels grill fenders pounded to shape front bumper rear bumper custom roll bar hood engine exaust new weber tranny windshield t-tops rear slider seats center console dashcover carpet struts shocks rear discs rear trailing arm both front axles tail lights paint, bed, rollbar too bobbed 12 inches of rust from the rear lift kit tires/wheels rear diff battery mirrors radio antenna probably a few things I can't remember. It all depends how dedicated you are, and how much you love the idea of bringing a brat back from the dead. That one took 6 weeks and no end of labor. . . The way you describe your brat and what's needed, I'd give it a 600 dollar value. You could sell the topper seperately for 150 bucks or so. Or you could have some patience and let it be finished when it's finished. You have a nother car to drive in the meantime.
  12. Noah's in Michigan isn't he. Look him up.
  13. Yeah, it was too heavy with mud. I had to pull the other off too.
  14. Yeah, I went into the first hole in FWD, Doh! You'll also note I asked him to pull me backwards two feet each time so I could keep going forward. Name the other rig who made it thru the whole thing 3 times. . . Which car did you take thru Caboobaroo? ? ? ssshhhhhh.
  15. Here's how I do it. http://usmb.net/gallery/Zaps-Stuff/Flinging_Mud_05shrinky And Dusty Rider says the Swampers are too agressive. hehe . . .never.
  16. I'm gonna go have some relaxation time at my Father's cabin this weekend. Stress free, leadership free, no organization, no question answering to do. Just beer to drink and a fire to tend. No being responsible for others except my wife. Have a good time.
  17. Aaaaaaaannnnd. . . I have about 5 or more minutes of proper digi footage I shot while he was playing in the daylight. Good stuff. Be envious.
  18. I sure would like to show you guys an awesome photo of my hatch in the mud, but the stinkin photo gallery seems to be a little retarded and won't take my photos. . . So I guess you'll all just have to wait until your copy of Noah's cd arrives in the mail.
  19. I got mine last night. Just wanna say WOW! My boy Noah takes some pretty sweet photos with that baddass camera. NOW THOSE ARE SOME ACTION SHOTS OF MY HATCH IN THE MUD!!!! Thanks Noah.
  20. Have you even 4X'd that thing yet Dante? lol God to see you around and looking to improve the wagon.
  21. No, thank all of you for showing up and having a good time. John Alley of Hood River is as much to blame for its success as we are. He did quite a bit of the legwork. Thanks to all of you who helped as vollunteers for things like setting up the mess hall and putting everything away. And especially thanks to Corky, Genie and Ed for being GateKeeper/MoneyTakers. And thanks to Brian (84SOOB) for selling the raffle tickets for us. You guys kick assssssssss Thanks to all of you for being patient with me as I played "Subaru Cop" and tried to keep order. If I yelled at you for going to fast on the grass or doing cookies, don't take it personal, I had to do it. Thanks for not crashing in the mud pit and causing big problems, only one or two got out of control and had to be "talked to", you know who you are. SO. . . . . . 103 registered cars!!!!!! Same # as USA medals in the Olynpics!! And about 35 who didn't actually park with the "entered' ones. Go on and try to beat that, bet it's a record for gathered Soobs!!
  22. I'll be at RR just after 6:30. Naomi doesn't get home till 6:30, but RR is a ston'e throw away from my house. See you there!
  23. Doh! I was filming you (with the tri-pod even) and you had to come over and spray me with mud, so I put away the camera. . . Too expensive to get muddy. Ya looked pretty cool doing it, I'm happy you got it out there E.
