  1. Bummer Austin! I thought everything was fine, so we cut out. . . Really sorry to hear about the wagon. Here's some photos of the day's adventures. http://usmb.net/gallery/Hatch-Patrol-04 I LOVE MY HATCH, it performs flawless. Did I mention I got the high mark?
  2. Thanks Ed, I was planning on heading down bright and early. I would have had to wait around all morning. This is gonna be cool!
  3. Closer to 120-150 Austin, even better.
  4. We're gonna show up enforce right?? The more the better. Who all is going? Chances are, I'll be driving a Turbo Baha with MT tires on it!!!! Even if I don't win with it, I'll be laughing the whole time, wanna bet?
  5. So. . . see you at my house @ 07:50? I'll be here with Brian and probably a Jeep and a girl. TEX?????
  6. There was a forerunner up there that one time with those big rump roast tires, he got around thru there OK. . . GImme Rob's # so I can call to wake him, hehe.
  7. Come on you guys. . . talk about bs on another thread.
  8. What's wrong with pvc? If done right it won't look so bad. Here's the one we put on Ken's old hatch.
  9. A buddy is joining me Sat a.m.with or without a Jeep, maybe we could just meet at my house. Leave 8 prompt. cough cough.
  10. From my pre-Weber days. . . A cheap easy effective "snorkel" for your Hitachi and its aircleaner is to just simply tie a red rag around the end of it. It will stop water from getting into your carb- once. You can then rotate it to a dry spot. Very little water will get past the red rag to your filter. A simple piece of vacuum hose sent back to the spare tire area can work wonders too. Red rag the end anyways. It will keep some dust out too.
  11. Mike. What's the plan for Sat? What time do you wanna take off? You wanna leave together, I can show up at your house, you just give me a time. Looks like Ken's in, everybody else with lifted cars is scared to 4 X them. Twill be like old days it seems, jsut the three of us. . . IS anybody else in? ? ? My cell is back up and running, gimme a call. EZ
  12. That's an even lamer excuse than "my girlfriend would be pissed." What's cooler than a lifted daily driver? I've been sporting a lifted Soob, in one form or another, as a daily driver for years now.
  13. Ah. . . what's a day of school? hehe
  14. Tex is scared to mess up his lifted wagon w/swampers by wheeling it, so he's out. lol
  15. YYYYEEEEESSSS!!!!!!!! I was this > < close to registering, but I can't decide which car to drive. Guess I'll wait to see what the weather will be like. See you there! (see you monday at Carter too, wanna jabber for a sec)
  16. Todd's brat is an 82. He "discovered" it about 10 years ago.
  17. The last couple of times when people were asked to give their input on a place, a huge debate started. We tried to avoid it. We've had pretty good success with planning HP meets by simply giving everybody a date and place. If there was gonna be no chance of a RallyX, we would have held it in WA. Will definitely ask you for a favor or two on down the line Richie. We'll be in town to reconoiter (sp?) the place in a couple of weeks. Maybe you can caravan out to the place with those of us who go. . .
  18. Should be able to find what you need here. http://www.hoodriver.org/HRCCC_MemberTemplate.asp?MemberINDX=68&CategoryINDX=19
  19. Well, went and tested the welded diff. Pretty baddass results, the little hatch climbs like never before!!!!!! Mike, you're 0 for 1 so far for this year's funruns.
  20. I think you're probably about 15 minutes ahead of Qman's big announcement. I'll save it for him to do. hehe But yeah, date and place are set! Gimme a call if you like PK, I'll fill you in a little.
  21. Yeah, sorry Ken, the cell took a crap. Will get muddy!
