  1. I'm not totally familiar with the area, but a few of the OR locals say there is 4X fun not too far away. Let's hope so. As for food on site, there will be consesions and possible meals available. We'll tell everybody with plenty of notice. If there is not, we'll advise everybody to bring food ahead of time. There are pay-showers and nice bathrooms. Sunday or Monday we'll have a much better idea of how it will go down. We'll promptly drop the old sticky up top and put up an official thread with proper details and stuff. EZ
  2. If you have any kind of mechanical in you, it should go on pretty easy. The toughest part about the lifts that I've found is simply getting the bolts on the underside to let go when they have a whee bit of rust built up. The two on each side for the rear shocks can be a bitch too. Be EXTRA careful not to crossthread bolts going back in. The front half often requires a buddy to pry one way or another with a bar on the suspensions to line it up for the new longer bolts.
  3. When are you gonna move away from Nowheresville and get up here closer to me and the WA mud Adam? Wanna see that bad boy in action in person! AAARGH!
  4. Chef Tim did it to his hatchback. Ask him how.
  5. I think they are. I brought two dogs to a RallyX there and they had no problem. Will bring that up too.
  6. Room for 200+. There are on -site pay showers. Will look into the carwash.
  7. E10 torx socket. About 10 bucks from Snap-on.
  8. Hood River OR, West Coast.
  9. Ken and I will be taking a trip to Hood River to talk out the details with the Fairgrounds people. Please speak up with questions you'd like us to present. Any suggestions? Anything you'd like to see happen? ie: stereo competition, beer tasting, etc. . .? On topic stuff appreciated.
  10. Car show, not car stereo show. I'd personally be against that. I believe there are neighbors of the Fairgrounds that that would anger. We'll be making a point of asking folks to keep the music down. But, don't consider it a for sure "no way". We'll go there next weekend to work out the little details with the park people, I'll try to remember to bring it up and ask what's up.
  11. Yes it does. We had 6 extras at the Rubicon and used all but one. Funny thing is, before that I'd only seen one break ever.
  12. To me, these ea81s are only for offroad. To race one on the street is and looks rediculous. Any damn car out there can beat my hatch in a straight line. Who cares? Try and follow me thru Evans Creek or Reiters Pit in a justy. . . Don't think any rump roast kicking would be happening there. The hatch in the photo was stock except for the wheels/tires. The photo was taken on the way back down those rocks. Good luck getting a justy in to even give that rock a try. huh uh.
  13. A justy won Production at the last RallyX. Looked god doing it too. But, when I was leaving the WCSS2, I heard someone ask another if my hatch was a justy. That pissed me off.
  14. Vera (sp?) kicks rump roast!! My wife feels about the same, she's able to co-exist peacefully with my Soobs and my Soob friends. Shoot, half the time we go out you'll find her riding shotgun or manning the camera.
  15. I wasn't sure what he was trying to say, just figure'd he knew what he was saying. Was planning on asking why the apostrophe.
  16. Tex is pretty happy with his suspension. A rear sway bar did wonders for his car. Indeed. But here, if you say GC8, you mean the 93-01 impreza. And they aren't everywhere, the wrxs are. And. I happen to love my L. The only wrx who beat me in last week's RallyX was a full on Rally car with a rally driver. I beat both an STI and an EVO. The time before when I entered it, I got first place. Plenty of rs's and wrxs behind me. Second place went to a 96 L.
  17. Bandanas and ear rings are very Piratie!
  18. Looks like wwe got excluded Ed. I think he must have run out of film from all the photos of the white wrx. . . Not to worry, I have you on film running a lap or two.
  19. If you feel I've ever earned one, I want one. Very cool.
  20. I doun;dn't find your photos. That is about the most cluttered board I've ever seen.
  21. Japaneese. LOL "Japanese" my friend. Translated it's nothing exciting. Basically says to scroll down to see his Subaru collection. He says that they all run.
  22. Guess I didn't make #4, I'll settle for #5. . . Even if they can't spell my name right ever. Can't say it's that bad getting beat by rally cars by only a couple of seconds. That was Sean from Rallitek's Baha by the way. He let me drive it, I let him drive my impreza. Where's that video and those pics Ken? (He's got the hsi, I'll let him upload it all.)
  23. You left before we got out there in the Baha. . . I had a chance to hear that Ferrari run. WOW What a noise!!!! Just plain beautiful!
  24. Big round of applause for Qman!!! 1rst place!!!! I didn't manage to get into the top three in Open class, but had a blast with the Baha. Hope you guys liked the ride! My cumulative time is only 2 seconds off of 2nd and 3rd in Open with the imp. . . not too shabby for the little L. Will have photos soon, the video is a blast to watch in slow mo. That Baha is something else. WHeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
