  1. What's the middle choice? hehe Setting up a "pits" would be cool too. Probably easier.
  2. What draw back? I usually go out wheeling with a half tank. Less weight the better.
  3. The group leaving with me will be in open or truck/suv.
  4. You'll be so busy laughing that you won't care how good you're doing. The WRXs don't tend to do as good as you think. It takes too long for their turbos to spool up. NA works great for RallyX. Compare youself and your times to someone in your class. Heck, last time out I drove my hatch back and pulled 7th place in opend class out of aobut 25 drivers. Who can say who will "smoke" you?
  5. I'd love to join you, but my weekend's all wrapped aound the RallyX. . .
  6. We can show up at Northgate Toys R Us to meet you at 9:30. Sound OK? EZ
  7. You don't live on the West Coast do you? You'd be following every soob you see. About 50 a day. LOL _____________________________________________ You know you're a freak when you can trughfully say you've owned 25+ Soobs in the last 5 years. (raises hand)
  8. Sweet! More lifted Soobs the better.
  9. Details http://nwr-scca.org/rallycross/index.htm John, you might as well come to my house at around 9. We can just leave from there.
  10. I've actually gone to the respective sites and posted the event. A formal invitaion will be in order once we get down there and see the place in person, talk with the big wigs, and get more of our ducks in a row. So far we have several sponsors. We'll name them at the time as the formal invite goes out. Things are looking good.
  11. NASIOC is a tough crowd, it's like pulling teeth to get them to even talk about it, much less commit. There are several clubs who have been invited. This is a Subaru thing, period, everybody is invited. ____________________________ As for an actual web site. . . Hmmmm. . . Sounds like a little extra unneeded work for us Ken. These threads will do fine.
  12. Looks like Durangos slipped thru the cracks. You will still find them in truck/suv even though they are a station wagon. Must be good to be the boss.
  13. Yes. The sensors remain intact, in place, untouched. The new bumper attaches using the existing mounts. unbolt, bolt on.
  14. Yeah, it's a cool feature on my camera. I especially like the welding sequences. If the film jumps during those, pause it, you'll get a nice clear picture.
  15. So far I'll have Sean's BahaT, John Sziggi in his hatch, and my buddy Will in his 85-86 sedan with me. . . Tex? Fly? Ed? Corky? Maybe meet a little South? Austin? You gonna be mobile by then? Matt? You drivin' the Pickle?
  16. John Mudrat lives in Eugene, he can make whatever you need. You don't necessarily have to remove the bumper either. Here's a bumper he did for an 04 turbo Baha. http://usmb.net/gallery/album115
  17. I miss the little :eyebrow guy from before. I'd use it now. hehe
  18. Give up some of those photos!!! I wanna see me trying to flip my hatch!!
  19. LOL That would be me. I thought the same about the possibilities of a 5 speed. Thanks for the good reviews. EZ
  20. I know this is more of a meet and greet topic, but that place is a ghost town. The event is only a week away, I'll delete it prompty after. MORE SUBARUS THE BETTER!! Makes a cool impression on the crowd to see a big group show up at the same time. Makes us look semi-organized. hehe I live really close to Northgate Mall, we could all meet there at say 09:30 in front of Toys R Us located on the South Side of the mall. . . There's an on-ramp to the Southbound express lanes right there. (we can meet with others at a more Southern location to grow bigger) That will get us to the RX at @ 10:30, giving us ample time to change tires, register, tech and get a feel for the track and surface and stuff.
  21. I suggest you get to Seattle and let Mike at Smart Service take care of that car. How dare you let a dealer mess with it? LOL
  22. The WRX springs will fit. I have some and have test fitted them on my 97 L sedan. But, we had concerns as to how high it would ride. SO, they sit in my garage waiting till I get the time for some trial and error. We figured we could cut a quarter of a turn off of the springs to make it ride at the right height without ruining the ride. I used KYB GR2s with my stock springs. The car is very happy now, rides good and stiff, but not like a rock if you know what I mean. The GR2s are said to have a 30% stiffer ride than the stock RS struts.
  23. Rob's been able to hang with us the whole time. He just always did it in a Mazda pickup. :lol You'll notice EZ didn't go into the deep part of the mud holes, he doesn't have any protection for the disty or carb. Here's some photos I took from the video I shot. http://usmb.net/gallery/HatchPatrol04 I'm hopin' that one of you will produce video of my little escapade up on the hill where I slid down into the ravine. . .
