Poor design
A good magnet on a stick never hurt either. Makes finding that tiny little screw much easier.

Thanks for the comments and compliments. hmmmm. . . Had thought about approaching SOA. . . hadn't thought about asking for a job filming. hehe In comparison, I've sold nearly a hundred copies of parts 1-4 and the best of. 5or6 or the Subarubicon dvd. . . I'm not so happy about. It was a really expensive (for me) video to make, more than 2 grand total.

Whos Is This
I also got to meet the owner of the car at wcss5. Did indeed think he was a pretty cool guy. Like his car, but you know me, I'm adamantly against the lowering of ea81 4Xs. Talked him into parking next to me so we could get a comparison shot. http://usmb.net/gallery/zapar/soobystuff_101 Also shown in the photo is the Fox's roof of boom. Or what I'd like to call. . . the assend of gas cans.

Little Roo is on her way to mudrats to begain her transformation.
I lived in SLC for a year or so. Liked it cuz of the mountains so close, lots of passes to explore. I could drive to 11000 feet in an hour. Left there with a really bad dislike for mormons/morons. Made a point of visiting the big chuch square to get the history straight from the morons themselves so I could make an honest opinion. Opinion being these people a complete suckers for believing the word of two brothers on *payote who say they ran into an angel in the woods. Read a good part of the book of moron while attending the ritual on Sunday morning, friggin crazy stuff in that book. Went through the SLC phone book. There's more moron churches than 7/11s. . . Harsh. *(my version, no other explanation) But yeah, SLC is a great place to own a Subaru if you don't mind rust from the salt.

Thanks, appreciate the honesty. I tried to keep the rallyx stuff to a minimum, but wanted to show another end of the Subaru offroad spectrum. . . As for 1-4 + the best of 1-3, I'm not so sure I'll ever be selling copies of those again. Probably just retire those and keep them for personal viewing. So if you've got them, hold onto them, more copies won't be available. When I get around to finally finishing up the Subarubicon digi version, I'll release a few copies of it and retire it as well. The interest in it was far less than I'd thought, way less folks signed up than I figured on. Don't think I've sold more than 15 copies of the vhs version. The idea of spending 6-8 hours to edit it all down again to get it onto dvd so 5 people will buy it doesn't motivate me so much at all. (little bit of kicking myself going on for buing a new computer so I could make dvds and pay for the new computer)

Ozified
Sorry no wagons in these pics, but here's ones I've done with the PK/BYB kit. (all but the white hatch and xt, white hatch got lifted after I sold it to a local) http://community.webshots.com/album/37919799NGXlOA I see you're in WA, what part? The Hatch Patrol (subaru offroad club) is centered right here in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area. Maybe you could meet with a couple of us and get a look at the kit yourself. I live near North Gate, there are no less than 6 lifted soobs within an hour's drive of me. 3 within 15 minutes. Eric Zap chairotsu@earthlink.net

I talked to John last weekend, he told me he was about to get to it with yours. Promised me you'd be a happy man when done. Psyched to see it finished.

Today's group shots of all the rigs in the snow is good enough to make it, just wait till someone posts it. I only took regular film type photos.

How'd the HP's Xmas tree run go? (new photos last post)
Was a big BLAST! Can't say I've seen more Subarus gathered together very many times. We had 23? vehicles in all. The group photo is gonna be a good one, lots of people. Nobody broke bad. Did lots of deep snow up hill stuff. Lead the way with the impreza for a while, it handled the snow like nothing. Had a harder time in the hatchback to be truthful. It has a lift, cooper mudders and a lsd. Will tell more later, but for now, yeah what a good time. Good to see and meet everyone. Zap

HP's Annual Christmas tree run
We're not like that. Nobody's banned. (Otherwise, volvos woulda been banned a long time ago) Be able to get yourself out of being stuck. Bring tow ropes, a come along, and a shovel, maybe a couple of small pieces of plywood. Know when to say when.

HP's Annual Christmas tree run
Cool enough. Matt goes last, the General will be second to last. But I fear it'll be another of your clutches that goes before your little Soobie tears the bumper off of that heavy old sucker. Only got one more AAA. It's mine.

HP's Annual Christmas tree run
Alright. . . but you'll find I have very little patience with stuck volvos.

HP's Annual Christmas tree run
We can meet at my house and go up. I'll be leaving at 8:30 a.m. sharp! Or, between 9:30 and 10:00 at the Enumclaw Mikky D's. There's only one.

Oregon Rally Group Rallyx meeting 11/19
Well, I tried to go over to their board and stick up for you guys. But, ezboard is such a Muther F'n POS that it erased my long post because I didn't fill in the subject line before I hit the add reply button. Any ways, in summary. EVERYBODY is a cry baby. The Durangos expecially, cuz their car that's in the truck class can't compete with the other cars that are in the truck class. The GL and brat drivers because they can't hang in production where they belong. (unless their brat was sold after 1986 as a truck without seats in the back) That's right, the brat was sold as a passenger vehicle, hence the jumpseats in the back to beat the "TRUCK" tarrif on foreign vehicles. period. If a friggin station wagon isn't a car, what is? Am I to jump into truck class if I show up in my legacy wagon? Lastly the crybabys who have a slightly modded car that gets put into Open. If you add anything to your car that's not from the factory. . . TOO BAD! I've personally beat some pretty baddass cars with my plain imp in the Open calss because it has a cold air intake and good year snow tires. Sean Sexton won his first try in an impreza with 40 series street tires that got thrown into open because it was lowered and had an aftermarket muffler on it. Being lowered is NOT an advantage, I would say it works against a car on a bumpy course. Quit crying. Have more fun racing.

You got it. That one was special, don't mind helping. It's also the only one I still have contact with that I sent away.

Oregon Rally Group Rallyx meeting 11/19
I'm not scared of Open Class. Don't care about an award either. I just like the fun. I love the competition too. Mostly the fun. Trust me, I don't drive to friggin' OR to Rally X so I can have a stupid magnet. Doesn't matter what I drive, I'm gonna be in the Open Class. If I can't beat them, too bad. You guys are gonna be bummin when I jump into my buddy's brat next year and kick rump roast in your class too. I do appreciate the SCCA throwing this. As a coordinator for most of the Hatch Patrol's outings, I know what a pain it is. And that's on a small scale. Don't need to be a member, just wanna fling grass and mud and get sideways.
