How many of you will bring off roaders to WCSS this year?
Pt Townsend is my neck of the woods and I'm thinking about inviting a few Soobies for a short cruise and a little bit of 4X fun in the mud on some fun little trails. . .

Oh, uh, I know. But it makes this Subaru show unique. Call me, I got something to run past you.

WCSS 14 - Jefferson County Fairgrounds, Port Townsend, WA
I'm actually stoked about this year. Pt Townsend is 20 minutes from my family's cabin. Might just take a group there during the day to do some wheeling. We have 7 acres. And uh. . . Aren't you guys glad I thought up the mud pit idea?

pros cons of soobs or Toys
I would choose a Toyota for a couple of reasons. The availablity of parts. The availability of aftermarket parts. I don't see very many old Nissans on the road. I do see lots of old Toyotas on the road.

A couple of dirty shots from the weekend
Went out to the family cabin over the weekend. Couldn't have had better weather! Jessie met me out there, we got to play on the trails some. I gotta give it up for his skills as a driver, I didn't have to pull him out of anything all day. Superswampers are all that. There, I got stuck and had to winch. Happy now?

Yes. Somewhat central location, + unequalled camping area.

NWWO 4th Mid Summer run July 6th 7th and 8th Evens Creek ORV Park
I think that weekend would work for me Jeff. I'll run support. I don't see it. We made it thru about the same amount of trails, did lots of come-a-longing, broke plenty of stuff, had flat tires. . . Same story as today. The red one has the first BYB kit to make it to the US. Thinking back, the pic was maybe actually 2000-01 or so. Here's the first Subaru "off road" meet I'm aware of. First trip to Evans Creek in the Summer of 1997. That would be me on the right.

This is a buggy!
What would be your "line" on this hill climb? Worth the wait to see it in 1080p

Tahuya Feb 4th
Careful, that place is geared towards motorcycles, there's lots of them zooming around trying to get hit.

Snow pics thread. . .
As it sits tonight. brrrr. Have had a blast these last few days, tore up the city pretty good, lots of donuts around those yellow islands on back street intersections. Pulled 4 people out with my truck today. Amazing how easily it drags them, even with all four tires on ice, going up a slight hill

A couple real quick, plenty more later. I have a couple vids of us going up the Express Way.- Tahuya Feb 4th
We're wheeling for his bday this weekend, the 4th we gather and fill up a hall and party down as one big family. Tahuya's not really wheeling anyways Brain.- We took a group up to Walker Valley. pics
Expressway shmessway.- This is a buggy!
Looks to me like he did a kick arse job putting that thing together. I'm betting that he got a little mud and dirt on the belts, big deal if they're squeaking. He can obviously drive the hell out of that thing, his skills with the rear steer are remarkable. Those folks on the side of the trail should get the f back and out of the way, like behind trees. At WCSS3, we had a guy there in a sooped up XT6 that did some pretty crazy stuff, I was lucky enough? to get ito the passenger seat and go for a ride. That's one of the most impressive vids I've ever seen when it comes to the off road. baddass!- Stellaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!NEW PICS!!!!
Sure, put some ugly guy in the pic to make your ugly car look pretty. Looks like it's coming along nicely Brain.- ea81 lift questions
mmhmm. And you've formed this opinion because you've had both and have had the chance to drive them on the highway and around sharp corners? That's not the opinion I've formed after owning both, I can tell you that. We called this one the Weeble for a good reason.- NWWO Walker Run 12/10/2011 Pics at the end of the Thread
God those conditions look SOOOOOOO fun!! I really need to test the new set up in some good sloppy sticky mud. Here's hoping the next one is doable for me. Killer pics as always.- new wheeler
Take a peek at the stickies at the top of this forum.- So now I have a Toyota (my 2nd one too!)
The lege room alone makes it a better truck than the first, not to mention the RE at the end of that 22. Nice truck. Let's go wheeling. I'm trying to keep track of how many of you followed me to Toyotas after the big uproar after I bought mine 8 years ago. lol 7? 8? more?- **DATE CHANGE** 2011 Annual HP Xmas Tree Run, Sunday Dec 4
Hope things go smoothly and painless as possible for you today young man. We missed you and your family yesterday. - We took a group up to Walker Valley. pics
