They look great!!! Heck I should sell my new steel pair and get a pair of these? I told George that I was going to hold until I get sorted out and moved. I just have too much crap! But I guess I better get my pair while I can! Are you happy with the quality? Todd

Mitsubishi question for Subi Folks
I have a quick question about a 1981 g32B 1.6 engine. Do these engines, "in general" have decent piston ring life? I have a few of these engines. I know that it depends on a lot, (care/oil, etc.) but for example Subaru engines, have very robust cylinder walls and rings. Do these Mitsu engines stay pretty tight on the lower end over 100K? They seem to smoke at fairly low mileage, but I think it's top end issues that cause Mitsu issues. Would a rebuilt cylinder head be too much for a 100k engine in reasonable condition? What would be a good compression test number for an engine with 100K? Just curious...Thanks! Todd

Etiquette and common courtesy
You guys are right....we all need to try better to not run when we get our part, answer, or sale. Let's try to close the loop as I say! Otherwise, we will come after you and put sand in your Subi gas tank!

HELP! Axle pin removal tool stuck!
Turn the axle around and try from the other side. Rememember when re-installing, they only fit one way. If the pin is not going in, you have to turn the axle 180 degrees.

WINDSHIELD GASKET ORDER **MAIN THREAD** Update 4/29/12 We're GOOD to go!
OK , for those who see this , I'm editing today. 4-29-2012 Time to get things going. moosens = Paul email - moosens at yahoo dot com Paypal - the same Check or money order? Contact me thru email please and remember - I DON'T KNOW YOU AND CANNOT MATCH YOU UP WITH YOUR BOARD NAME ...... So , please let me know who the heck I'm dealing with. Thanks !!!! Some of you folks also use Paypal , or send checks from another person's account , i.e.: girlfriend , mom , dad ,etc..... not a problem but remember to let me know your info within that payment in the message box so I'm not going nuts trying to match up a name with a payment. No complaints from last buy from the buyers. Let's try to make it that way for the handler too. Edit , 4-29-12 , we are going to get me paid ASAP so I can not use my own money so much , and not need a loan or use a credit card ,etc....... so that'll save us all some across the board. We agree that the material and or shipping also needs to be picked up ,etc. so we round up and we're still probably under $55 total per single unit shipped and folks getting two or three might even not have an increase using the USPostal pre-paid box deals. That is IF they all fit. Those are right around $15 and change and have confirmation and insurance built in. And in cases of using FedEx Ground I know they are reasonable. International we'll figure by country. I have one I can weigh and get dimensions on. Probably US Postal for that situation. Paul......build from this list. manual trans questions
SUBARU3 replied to Recian's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXYes, I love my Impreza L coupe EJ18/ 5 speed/ FWD only! It seems to be a rare bird. It's got 74K on it now, so it's a teenager! I do consistently get 30 in city and 34-36 on the highway at about 65mph.

manual trans questions
SUBARU3 replied to Recian's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXSo it's correct to say that a 1995 Impreza "L" FWD only 5 speed, has a 3.9 rear-end? Did all the 95 Legacies and Imprezas with AWD and a 2.2 have 4.11 rear? Now I'm curious!
