front differential 85 xt 4 cyl. turbo automatic
Could I Ask if you're Completely Sure about the Noise's Origin to be at the Differential? Any Background info about that Differential? ... did it Ran out of Oil? I'm Asking that Because the Culprit could be the C.V. Joint's Couplers, at the Differential; Specially if the Car Still Moves. Kind Regards.

Could I Ask which Kind of Paint did you Used and what brand of Spray Gun, at which PSi? I Paint using "Sagola" Spray Gun and my Favourite Paint is the Polyurethane Based. Kind Regards.

set up the timing belt correctly but still back fires wont start
That's Good Idea. To address a Vacuum Leak, just Spray Carb Cleaner around and see if the Idle increases / Decreases. But first I Kindly Suggest you to put the Missing fan there to Avoid dangerous Overheating. Kind Regards.

Here, a More easy-to-Look View: Around all Empty area goes a Fan Cover for the Missing Fan.

There, in those four Screws, a Clutch fan must be Placed. is Missing. You can grab one at a Junk Yard, along with its Cover.

Fuel Pump on ea71...need help!!
Pete, you can do a Simple Test to Address the Problem: if the Engine Runs Great with the Fuel pump Directly Wired to the Battery (Disconnecting the Original Wire) then is an Electric Supply issue. But if the Problem Persist, then is the Carb's Float that gets Stuck closed somehow... I Kindly Suggest you to Try these Suggestions. Kind Regards.

can I run a msd 6AL
Thank you for your Kind answer... That's New Stuff for me. I Run my EA82 Weberized Wagon with an Accel (Made in USA) SuperStock 8140 High Vibration Coil, that Surpasses the Stock Coil's Output... I've been Runnin' it since some years ago and it works Great, but that MSD Stuff sounds even more Accurate. Kind Regards.
