I'm Asking that Because the Culprit could be the C.V. Joint's Couplers, at the Differential; Specially if the Car Still Moves. Kind Regards.

That's Good Idea. To address a Vacuum Leak, just Spray Carb Cleaner around and see if the Idle increases / Decreases. But first I Kindly Suggest you to put the Missing fan there to Avoid dangerous Overheating. Kind Regards.

Here, a More easy-to-Look View: Around all Empty area goes a Fan Cover for the Missing Fan.

There, in those four Screws, a Clutch fan must be Placed. is Missing. You can grab one at a Junk Yard, along with its Cover.

Yes, your Engine is Missing some Parts, let me explain it Better...

Pete, you can do a Simple Test to Address the Problem: if the Engine Runs Great with the Fuel pump Directly Wired to the Battery (Disconnecting the Original Wire) then is an Electric Supply issue. But if the Problem Persist, then is the Carb's Float that gets Stuck closed somehow... I Kindly Suggest you to Try these Suggestions. Kind Regards.

I've been Runnin' it since some years ago and it works Great, but that MSD Stuff sounds even more Accurate. Kind Regards.
