  1. Here, the impreza comes with 1.5L (EJ15) and 1.6L (EJ16) engines on the Basic Sedan or Wagon.
  2. Subaru Continued the Production of EA Engines up to 1994. Sharin' some info: here in Latin America, the Subaru Body Known in USA as "Loyale" came factory with the Followin' engines: Sedan DL: 1.3L (EA65) on FWD and 1.6L (EA71) on 4WD Wagon DL: 1.6L (EA71) on FWD and 4wd. The 1.8L (EA81) on 4WD DL's was an Option. Sedan GL: 1.6L (EA71) on FWD and 1.8L (EA81) on 4WD. The 1.8L (EA82) was an Option. Wagon GL: 1.8L (EA81) on FWD and 4WD. The 1.8L (EA82) on Both FWD and 4WD was an Option. Luxury GL10: 1.8L (EA82T) Turbo, both Sedan or Wagon. So here were available those engines in the Subaru Lineup Untill 1995... not only in that Body Shape but also in the Hatchback (Except the EA82 for that Body) You can Confirm the EA Series Engine Production, Here. Latin America has the Same Options that Subaru offered in Asia and Australia... Not Sure about Europe; but in USA the "Loyale" went with Factory EA82, but some few ones Went there with Factory EA81 engines too. About the EFi in those EA engines: Subaru only offered it first in the EA81T (Turbo) and then in the EA82 but as an Option, because the Buyer was able to Choose if the car's engine came with Carburetor or Not. That was mere a Price factor, 'cos no Pollution artifacts, like Cathalytic converters are needed here. That "Carb or EFi" option Lasted up to the Legacy lineup (with EJ engines) Let me Explain: First gen of Legacy came to Honduras in Late 1988 as 1989 Model, the EJ engines came with Stock Carburetor and Distribuitor up to the 1994 model. Then, the EFi was an Option too... Kind Regards.
  3. ...unless you come here, to my Country... There are many of those Subies Still Runnin' here very Good, but not in Such Great Conditions for Sure... Thank you for Sharing those Pics, I Like it very Much. Kind Regards.
  4. Are you Really SURE that it Got Lost? ... if you Sent it, you must have a Receipt which could be Tracked Somehow with the Police... not the Airport People.
  5. I Kindly Suggest you to Start Lookin' at the Realys Themselves... Also Behind the Passenger's side Strut Tower, under the Windshield's base; you'll find a Twin Relay's Setup, that Controls when the AC Compressor and the Condenser fan Engages... if those fail, the Blower fan's Relay will Fail too; so I Kindly Suggest you to check all the Relays. Good Luck! Kind Regards.
  6. Muffler Bearing? ... see: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=56844&page=4
  7. Good Job! ... I Guess that in France, the Owners of Old School Subarus don't have Problems to Find Rims for the Old 4 X 140 Lug Pattern... in USA People Hunt for Old Peugeot Rims, here in my Country I Used to Own a set of Nice Looking Luxury Rims from Renault, they were "Cheviot" Brand, Made in France...
  8. Worn Relay issues... This Link could be Helpful to Swap Standard Bosch Relays instead of the Weak Round ones that came Stock: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=90403 Kind Regards.
  9. The Stock two HeadLamps Setup comes Wired as Follows: Each Headlamp has a 9004 Bulb, its plug has Three Wires; the Middle -Center- Wire is the "Always On" Positive (+) Wire which gives the 12V Power. The Remaining two wires (Left & Right at the Plug) are both Negatives ( - ) or Grounds, one for the Low Beam and the other one for the High Beam. So, when you do the Four HeadLamps Setup Swap, you just Need to Wire Both headLamps' Positives from the Same side, to the Positive (Middle or Center) Wire on the Car's 9004 Plug; is better Idea to Remove the old 9004 Plug and Directly weld the New Wires to the Twin HeadLamp's Plugs. Then to wire the Low / High Beam Setup, you Simply need to weld the Low Beam's Negative to the Corner's Side Lamp's Low Beam input at its Plug, and wire the High Beam Negative to the Corner's side Lamp's High Beam imput at its Plug. Then for Both Grille Side Lamps, just share the Negative Wire for the High Beam from the Corner's Side Headlamp. I Hope this Can Help. Kind Regards.
  10. You can find Good Advice on C.V. Joints Following this Link: Here. Kind Regards.
  11. Welcome!!! You have done a Beautiful and Clean Job with your Subies... I Like those Foresters. Could I Ask Which Subaru Model was the Donor for those Rear Disc brakes? Kind Regards.
  12. I am not sure if New -to me- Remanufactured Calipers are a Real "Solution" to this ordeal... But thank you for the idea, and for Writing in Spanish, my native language. Kind Regards.
  13. Long time Passed by and I already Lost the Hope to obtain EJ Calipers fitted on EA Bracklets, so as I wrote before: Kind Regards.
  14. How Old is the Transmission Oil? ... Sometimes Old and Dirty Oil could make the Transmission to do some Noises; also the Pilot Ball Bearin' could be Worn.
  15. I Like That! ... ... Well, that issue could be done by Tires Sizes / inflation Too; let me Explain: in a FWD Vehicle, if Tire Sizes are Different from one Side to the Other, or maybe one of those Tires are Low on Air Pressure...
  16. Well, I have the Honor of being part of this Awesome Subaru Club since many, years ago, (Look at my Sign Date on my Profile) so I've seen Lots of Stuff going on here since then ... ... also I have a couple of Photos stored on my Computer. Kind Regards.
  17. Your Blue ER27 Wagon is Very Nice! The Radiator Didn't fit there at All, as you Already Know... My dad & I were thinkin' to do the Same you Did, a Top Mounted Rad; but to Work well it Needed the subie to be Lifted at least with a 2" Lift plus Dropping the Engine Crossmember to make the engine go Down enough to let a Full Sized Two Row Radiator to hang over it... We Couldn't do That, we were on Low Budget. So we Placed a Thick Black Fabric Behind the Grill to Hide & Protect the Engine's Runnin' Pulleys from Tiny Rocks or other Road Debris, and we Placed Two Small Radiators with Permanent electric Fans; Both interconnected, did their Job very well but if I Tried to hold Deep Acceleration for more than 10 ~ 15 Minutes, the car Overheated pretty Easy and here is hard to Obtain Parts for that engine. (is Very Scarse) So Yes, we did Relocated the Rad Somehow... That's Why we Never did the Turbo Project.
  18. On The GL's Two HeadLamp Setup, the Metal Trim that Holds the Glass comes Out as one Piece with the Glass; it only have Four Nuts Behind them, You just need to Unplug the Bulb and Remove the Four Nuts, so the Whole HeadLamp Assy will come Out, lettin' you to see Easily how to Attach the other Setup. Kind Regards.
  19. I obtained my Kit at: http://www.webercarburetors.com/ and Still is Workin' Awesome after almost five Years of Rude Use.
  20. Google did Translate Very Well this Time! I Hope my 2.7 Wagon is not Dead, but the engine is for sure ... I'm Afraid on What's Happening with it Right Now, because my Father is Trying to fix it Somehow Before I could be Able to do a trip to my HomeTown. (he Don't want me to See it in such Very Bad Conditions) He Already Removed the Wrecked ER27 from the Engine Bay to fix and straighten some areas, but He stated that the engine is Very Damaged, beyond any possible repairs, also there are not much XT6 here in Honduras, only few that came from USA. You Still have the Blue ER27 Wagon with Top-Mounted Radiator? I Have seen it around and I Really Like it! Thank you for your Kind Words, which are Highly appreciated, Kind Regards.
  21. Your Subie's Fuel Pump is Electric and it came Stock Located Next to the Tank... if you Moved the Tank, you Should moved that Fuel pump with it, 'cos if it Stays too Long from the Tank, it Might Suck Air and since Fuel Pumps are Cooled by the Passing Fuel, Suckin' Air will Overheat & Damage the Fuel Pump. Also it Should be Placed as the Stock Placement Was, in order to allow it to Obtain a Free Fuel Flow... Hope this can Help. Kind Regards.
