Help Please! - Direct Front Brakes Swap
The one on the Left, is the Hill Holder's Check Valve that goes Under the Master Cylinder... ...While the one on the Right, is the Proportioning Valve, that goes Hiding under the Body.

Help Please! - Direct Front Brakes Swap
So, I went to the Stealership to buy New Parts to Rebuild (once again) my Subie's Front Calipers; also I Asked for a New Hill Holder Check Valve, just in Case I had Enough Money for everything, because the one on my "BumbleBeast" has been Leaky. First I Asked the Price of a Brand New Complete Caliper, The Salesman Show me this: Yes, They Have it but Only two for the Left Side... ...and is Very Expensive its Cost is around $ 180.ºº US Dollars, but the Funny Thing is, that Subaru Wrote... ... Cariper, instead of Caliper... Is that's a usual Japanese Translation Mistake, to Confuse the "L" with the "R" Letter? I remember something about an Aporogize for a similar Confusion...

Holy subaru god's
I Really Like That Wagon! This is the First time I See a 1985 GL with Black Door Handles... I Agree... Also in my Country that would cost Between $ 4,000.ºº and $ 5,000.ºº Because is Very Clean and Good Shape, also Because Used cars are very Expensive here too... but the Real Value is not given by the Market, once you "Fall in Love" with a Car. Kind Regards.

Tires!!
Could I Ask about those Tires... Are those hard to get in USA? ... or Why are you Searchin' on internet for Those? Here in my Country is Easy to find almost any Tire you might Need... and those are Common on the Mountainy Towns. Kind Regards.

Carb swap
in my own Humble Opinion, To use the Hitachi is Somehow a Downgrade... Except if the Carter is Bad and the Hitachi is Good; but if you want to improve your Ride, I Kindly Suggest you to Swap a Weber Carb instead the Hitachi.

What color should I paint my GL-10?
Yes, You're Right. So Retro Colour... in this case I Kindly Suggest you to Choose the Red, 'cos there's Lots of Other Colours in and around your Subies in your Great Photos, but I Noticed a Lack of Red. By the Way: Your Photos Looks Very Professional. Kind Regards.

A Peak in the attic - 360
Well... I have Seen Many of those FF1 Cars Still Runnin' Great Here, in Coupe, Sedan and Wagon; but People here Refuse to Sell them... The same Happens to the 2 Cyl. Subaru Rex, the Sambar Bus and Pick-Up, Brat, etc... The only Subaru Models I've Seen Used & for Sale here are the Newer ones...

What color should I paint my GL-10?
What about a Darker, More Aggresive Blue; like the One found on the WRX impreza?

Meet Stanley the wonder Van
Stanley is very Beautiful, I really Like it but is a Micro-Van, and I Believe that Being very Small makes it very Special. Subaru did Big Sized Subaru Vans, Look for the Subaru Traviq: But I Really Preffer Stanley, its Cute!!! Kind Regards.

Rarest Old-School Subaru Part or Option?
Well... Back in the 1980's era, the "Shift-Up" Light in the Dashboard was a very Rare Feature for a Car then, but Seems like even Older Subarus got an Audible Beep alarm instead that Light, Back on the 1970's era; See this Post:

advise on rear shocks and front strut.
No, That's not that Simple; Because if you go with a Very Tall Setup, the Axles angle will be Stressed up, Making the C.V. Joints to worn around 10X Faster, also your car will Loose the Camber / Caster Alignment. The Idea is to improve the Suspension while Keeping the Axles' Angle as Close as Stock, Possible. Kind Regards.

I got the block out! Two questions...
Any Heavy-Duty Engine Degreaser in Spray Should work Fine there. Kind Regards.

So...what IS the new OutBAck really!? Reskinned Tribecca?
Holy Cow! ... More info Needed! I Tought that the Subaru Amadeus was the SVX Wagon, See the Post Nº 227 of This Thread for Pictures: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?p=648229&highlight=amadeus#post648229 Here the Forester Looks just like a Rebagged Tribeca, I Saw a Local Tribeca Parked Side by Side with a Local Forester (By Local I Mean the Latin American Specs) at the Dealer, and Both Looked the Same Outside, the Main Differences were the interior and Engines Options: Forester also comes Diesel Here. Kind Regards.
