  1. I Found This, about an SPFi EA71... I Know it is not the 1400 engine buy Might be Useful info:
  2. Back on Topic: This is the nicest Old "Subaru Leone GT4" I have Seen with a Moded Engine to Race: But isn't SPFi
  3. I Didn't want to Hijact the Thread, so Please Excuse me...
  4. ...or This Nice Subaru Rex: The Subaru Rex is a 3/4 Scale Justy, but with only a two Cyl. Engine. (a.k.a: "Sherpa" in its 4WD version)
  5. There are Lots of 1400, 1600 etc... Old Subies, even some few in good "Showroom" Conditions, but I haven't Pics; I only have Few Pics of certain old Subies in my Country, like This one: Taken Nearby the Catholic Church, on the Small Highlands Mountany Town named: "Santa Lucía". it is a Beautiful Subaru Sambar 4WD Kei (Micro) Bus.
  6. Yes, You'll See Lots of Rusty Cars here, but Many in Good Conditions... 'cos since here is the Caribbean, there's no Salty Roads; Rust is not a Problem here. I'll Like to see a Copy of that Magazine...
  7. in Example... someone Owns a New Impreza... but Still Keeps the Old Leone Runnin' Fine, also I Like the idea of using Stones to Keep the Parkin' Spots: That Pic was Taken with my Cellphone's Camera, Somewhere Near Downtown of the City named: "Comayagüela" ... which is one of the Twin Cities (Along with "Tegucigalpa" city) that conforms our Capital City...
  8. Your Wish is my Command... I Have some Pics of Old Subies Runnin' here in my Country, Let me Search...
  9. Believe me... I've Tried to Help other USMB friends in the Past to obtain those parts and, I Found that Subaru Discontinued certain Parts for that EJ engines, such as Distribuitors... in order to Avoid Hijack this Thread and to give you Further info, Please Read here: http://ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=101887&page=3 Kind Regards.
  10. So, Will this reduction from the stock 5/8" to 3/8" be dangerously Restrictive for my EA82 engine?
  11. if they have no Clear Coat: What about the "Brasso" Metal Polisher? Then you can cover 'em again with Clearcoat.
  12. By the Last Symptoms that you Described, seems like the Engine only have an Unplugged (or Stuck Opened) PCV Valve... Have you Checked that?
  13. A Beautiful Song from Mr. Bing Crosby Taught me That... (Look on Post Nº 45 of This Thread) Merry Christmas!!!
  14. if you Already set the Timing Belts using the Three Marks on the Flywheel, and you are Sure that Rotated 180º one Head's Belt from the Other... the Failure cause could be Somewhere Else... I Kindly Suggest you to Start Checkin' the Electric Basics, in Example: the Fusible Links, the ignition Coil and the wire that comes from that coil to the Disty... Could be Broken. Kind Regards.
  15. Ok, the Oil catch can Finally came. When I Purchased it in e-Bay (with the Kind Help of a Friend) it said "15mm Fittings" that Equals to my Subie's 5/8" Heads Hoses... But the Thing came with 9mm Fittings... which equals to 3/8" ... Smaller sized fittings. I know that I could use a Small piece of 3/8" Hose in those fittings to make the 5/8" Hose plug over it, but the Question is: Will this 3/8" reduction be too Restrictive for my EA82 engine? I've Tested (with my Mouth's Vacuum ) the Oil Catch can flow and is somehow restrictive by itself. Kind Regards.
  16. Merry Christmas to All of You... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=69121&page=5
  17. Could I Ask about the Shortened Back... Was it for Off-Roadin' Purposses? ... to have a Better Angle? The short Legacy Looks Nice! To Post pics here very Easily, first Upload them to a Photo Host Site like Photobucket, then Open there the Pic and do a Right Click / Copy. Then: To post the Pic here, just Right Click / Paste it in the Post. Kind Regards.
  18. Sometimes people are very Busy with other Threads... in Example: I Posted a Couple of Years Ago that I was Painting my White Weberized Wagon in Yellow, but not like my Other Yellow Wagon (The ER27 Wagon was Dark Yellow) I Painted my White Wagon in Bright Yellow and Black, I Posted a thread in the "Playground" forums we had after the Site went Down for a While, in 2008... Then I Posted This Thread a Couple of Years Ago, Tryin' to Bring back that, but No one posted a single Reply... Then I Posted This Thread about my First 25 Years Owning my Weberized EA82 Wagon, but also seems like it wasn't very interesting... I Understand that there are other more interesting Threads... I'm Here Trying to do my Best to Help Others with Ideas and Share my Experiences & Knowledge... well, that's the Idea of this Forum. Kind Regards.
  19. Thank you for your Kind Answer... My EA82 Weberized Wagon now Runs with 205/60 R 15 (25") without Rubbing, I made Somehow a Custom 2" Lift just by Swapping the Suspension, as you can Read here: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=110546 Your Subie does Look Good with those Chrome Rims... My other Wagon (the ER27 engined one, now Crashed as you can Read here) has a Set of Chrome Rims too... Kind Regards.
  20. Does that Tires Rub? ... I'll Love to See Pictures... Could you Post any?
  21. Nice Subie! Yes, it Really Needs Bigger Tires... I Run my EA82 Wagon with 25" (205/60 R15) Tires without major Modifications except the Rims and their Lug Pattern. Couldn't you Find a Set of Peugeot 4 X 140 Rims? Kind Regards.
  22. I Really Know and Like those "Cheviot" Rims (Made in France) I Used to own a Set that came from a Renault, 4 X 140 ... Fits incredible Well in a 4 X 140 Subaru. Then, with time one Broke... Well, I Don't Like to have a Car with Mixed Rims, So I had to Change 'em, but I Still have this Age Old Photo, You can see one Cheviot Rim on the Rear of my EA82 Wagon: Kind Regards.
  23. Yes... Old Renaults & Peugeots had the 4 X 140 Rims, like Old Subarus Did. The "Loyale" model name for USA and certain Latin American Counties (such as Chile), for the Rest of the World it is Known with other Names, but the most well Known is "Leone" Kind Regards.
  24. I've Posted this Pic in Other Thread: I Believe that since Water passes Thru the intake Manyfold, a Pair of independent intakes Wouldn't Work Well
