  1. Here you go https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F272488045270
  2. You need a set of gauges. Need to know your high and low side readings.
  3. Get a set of guages off Amazon. Sounds like you are low on refrigerant.
  4. It does appear you can replace the U joint. I only hear that sound in reverse as well
  5. That's is exactly how I do it. I bring the knuckle with new bearing along with new inner and outer seal to my local shop. They charge me $50 labor. Replace the hub while you are at it. Less then $50 bucks off Amazon.
  6. I have 98 obw. I installed a $120 ebay kit 10 years ago without any issue. This summer I will be doing the same job again. I will go with the Aisin kit this time around
  7. Hello, Check out my post. I did this job on a 98 OBW. I have listed the part numbers that will get put you in the ballpark. The cheapest OEM parts I could find were at www.heubergersubaruparts.com. Email them any questions with parts and they will help you. If you are doing your own work I suggest buying new parts here given how much you are saving in labor. Any parts you pull used are 15 to 20 years old and worn. 8. If you have rotted exhaust welding will only do so much and work for so long. Buy a new system like this and have your local exhaust shop install. This is for an 06 https://www.upsw.com/06-subaru-outback-25i-wagon-nonturbo-resonator-muffler-exhaust-system/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwn-bWBRDGARIsAPS1svvaHNJTm72uWCkBeOOJ8JZOCMfU8L4mqvF3zGbHGg-1tSW05YL2eB0aAmAcEALw_wcB
  9. Take a look at this link. Does yours look like this? Looking around $200 for the part used off eBay https://www.oempartstoyou.com/oem-parts/subaru-cross-member-20151ac002?origin=pla&gclid=Cj0KCQjw_ODWBRCTARIsAE2_EvVD8mBliHklMIOl7E3684ZEVb1L_lQ6L5fWsCZ1PvmPwv0wdHvehL4aAr4qEALw_wcB
  10. Confirm you do not have the AWD fuse installed in the engine bay.
  11. A wheel bearing job can be expensive due to labor if the press needs to come out. Expect that job to be at least $350 per bearing assuming nothing breaks during removal.
  12. $40 Shipped https://www.ebay.com/itm/2004-2005-2006-Subaru-Forester-XT-6-Disc-CD-Player-Radio-Receiver-Head-Unit-OEM/323195322484?fits=Year%3A2004%7CModel%3AForester&hash=item4b3ff14074:g:luoAAOSwLdBaIILF&vxp=mtr
  13. I live in the Norteast. I know rust. I can't wrap my head around how a pin snaps without applying more pressure then is normal. This is my opinion as a customer. I think they should have stopped the work at the point were normal pressure was not working to let you make the call that new parts would be needed due to the condition of the existing parts.
  14. I would caution against using any 25 year old AC parts. What color is the oil dripping out of the compressor? Check out the links below. I completed a full AC rebuild. There are other parts you should replace at the same time. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/163981-98-outback-ac-work-compressor-dryer-and-evaporator/ Reman for $300 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Reman-AC-Compressor-A-C-Clutch-Fits-Subaru-SVX-1992-1993-1994-1995-1996-1997/312063228912?_trkparms=aid%3D555017%26algo%3DPL.CASSINI%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20150817211758%26meid%3Dae9dc79dbba44b68a8960eb7f9983512%26pid%3D100507%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D1%26%26itm%3D312063228912&_trksid=p2045573.c100507.m3226
  15. Assume the engine is damaged and factor that into the price. There is a lot of body damage there. $1000 is too high.
  16. Replacing the clutch pack is not a bad job. It is time consuming. I did the job a few years ago. check out the link below. You may find that you need the reduction gear. With your symptoms you may have a sheared off or damaged gear. Look for deep grooving where the plates can get hung up on. This needs to be pressed in and off. 31450AA260 GEAR COMPLETE-REDUCTION DRIVE Http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/121116-at-light-flashes-16-times-what-to-do/?fromsearch=1
  17. Before you start throwing parts at this what is the model and year? Get some ac guages off amazon and take a reading. 18. There is still alot of important electronics that appear not to have been submerged and that is a good thing. Go for it. I would replace ECU. Link below on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/05-Subaru-Impreza-RS-2-5L-ECM-ECU-Engine-Computer-Control-Module-Unit-22611AJ940/222649276431?fits=Year%3A2005%7CMake%3ASubaru%7CModel%3AImpreza&hash=item33d6ee580f:g:QJsAAOSwmgJY3AX1&vxp=mtr
  19. I am running 205/55/16 for summer tires. I agree they do not fill out the wheel well at all. Post some pics when you get this done. I am looking for a better fit as well.
  20. Over 10 years ago I spent $400 to get my failed harmonic balancer replaced at a local Indy shop only to blow a head gasket a few months later. Being charged that much started my journey into a weekend warrior mechanic. The last one I replaced cost me about $40 https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Engine-Harmonic-Balancer-Dorman-594-129-fits-90-96-Subaru-Legacy-2-2L-H4/222692292460?fits=Make%3ASubaru&hash=item33d97eb76c:g:8bcAAOSws6ZZ8ASm&vxp=mtr
