  1. Im in. What will be total with ship to 13810?
  2. Im all for the bottom lift, personally. It sucks not being able to go more than one tire size over stock. With the weight of the EJ chassis, I wouldnt want to do any hardcore offroading, but some larger tires for the snow and spring season would be a welcome thought!
  3. Very nice! I posted a thread asking about a strut bottom lift a while back.... good to see someone making progress in the EJ lift area!
  4. Looks like you are fairly close to me (PA) I personally have fixed rust that bad before. It wasnt pretty... never is. What the REST of the Brat looks like, would determine (for me at least) if it was worth it or not. GD is correct. You have to cut out and weld in new. How are you at welding and fabricating? Post some pics of the whole truck too!
  5. WOOHOO!!! Jess and I will be there with bells on. The burgers alone would make the trip worth it. C'mon folks! Lets pack the house like last year!
  6. See on the website where it says "inner or outer" ? That means = 2 per side Also, not to nitpick, but these bearings are press or "drift" in. Theyre not tapered. EDIT: Theres also a real nice writeup on here somewhere (with good pics) if youre tackling this as a weekend project
  7. That was my exact thought when I first saw the web page.
  8. If we can get a price break like this with a group buy... Id be up for an ea81 4" as well!
  9. I wasnt really able to offer any insight on the A/C question, but since you mention the t-tops.... I took a cheap silver-y windshield sun deflector, and cut it in half. Then took each piece and trimmed and clear taped them inside (with the silver side up) Keeps the ol brat MUCH cooler!
  10. I have a couple I could share... call me backdoorboy again and I will
  11. What about the FWD 5 spd trans? Im thinking that might be a nice thing for you to have, Connie.
  12. Joe, Thanks for posting. Nice pics. I was so into talking with everyone that I NEVER walked around on saturday. Youre pictures are all of the show that I got to see.... thanks! Nice meeting you BTW dude. You comin to Connie's party?
  13. This may be part of the problem.... I have found that propane does not heat fast enough to work well on "large" parts. By the time the outer steel is hot enough to expand... so is the part that you are trying to remove. :-\ Try MAPP gas. .....and +1 for the "tie it to the tree and drive" .... but go gently.
  14. Here's our little redneck subie campsite, BTW
  15. I really hope we have the same spot as last year. Best freaking spot on the grounds if you ask me.
  16. http://www.carsatcarlisle.com/ce/pdf/Map_Import_Vendor_bw.pdf This is off the carlisle website.... the main gate for the show is gate #3 on the map.
  17. No worries Matt! (sorry bout last year, BTW) I think were meeting/eating around 7:30 (ish) Ill PM you Jess' cell # ... *I dont have mine anymore* Pm me your # and we'll chat about it a little
  18. If its stuck closed... your sube wont run for long (if at all) If its stuck open, your engine can continue to "diesel" for a few seconds before it quits.
  19. Good thing I was already wearing a diaper! (just kidding) That is a SWEET wagon. My folks had one just like that... all that is left now is the engine... tranny... glass and a BIG pile of rust
  20. I may have a couple of "extras" if you need them. Then there is always the trick of filling the square hole with fiberglass-reinforced bondo... and drilling a new screw hole in the center. ..... it works.
  21. Looks really nice Connie! You have been working really hard on getting him ready for the show. It will pay off (looks like it has already) I call dibs on parking on the OTHER side of your coupe @ Carlisle! GOOD JOB!
  22. I dont have pics... but on my wagon, I got fed up with "straight streaming" the windshield... and changed out the factory nozzles for some made by GM *gasp!* Youll have to get a little creative (I used heavy gage mechanics wire and needle-nose pliers to get MINE to point straight) .... but the result was a nicely "misted" windshield of washer fluid. My .02
  23. B/A makes good stuff. I used a LOT of Beck parts when Darlingchip and I were building her brat. Pretty much anything made in USA is good to very good... and of course made in Japan is tops!
