  1. i also use 10w30 in all my soobs year round in whatever brand autozone has on sale with their $11 oil change special(5 qts and filter)
  2. i would say start low, around $1k he just may take it, and thats enough to where it won`t be an insulting offer to most people. if you do decide to pass on it, please shoot me an email at ruppenduro@yahoo.com if the price is right on the truck, i`ll give you a $50 finders fee....... Jon
  3. that just got me thinking:rolleyes: Bucky would look pretty nifty with an H6 5sp awd and 5 lug conversion with those wheels:burnout: oh, and the xt seats ect ect i guess it would be tough getting to work while its being converted tho lol
  4. i`m going through the same exact thing, believe me you are not alone. i bought a 96 impreza outback a couple months ago. i love the uphill power and smoothness, but man, i drove my brat down the road the other day and it just made me smile ear to ear. theres nothing like the old ones, no doubt about it. the sound, the sloppy shifter, the stiff suspension, tight steering, its awesome. i can`t wait to get the brat restored so i can start driving it daily again, and sell the imp. it'd be awesome to combine the 2. ej22 5sp d/r brat:banana:
  5. was it this one? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1961-Fuji-Rabbit-Superflow-scooter-Unique_W0QQitemZ190079861639QQihZ009QQcategoryZ6722QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item190079861639
  6. yeah, moneypit's a good guy. he's bought 2 cars from me......... Rocky looks great! hope to see him at carlisle:banana:
  7. he bought a running 360, and sold these 2. you can still follow there progress on the 360 message board.
  8. C'mon ThIs ThReAd Is WoRtHlEsS wItHoUt PiCs
  9. wow nice saab storyzzz i actually really like those 96's but the 95 wagons are awesome too.
  10. 1 bolt in each tow hook, 2 where the liscence plate goes on, and 1 right on the top center. it should be a fairly easy install. there are sturdier methods to put it on, but this would be the easiest. only 3 holes that need to be drilled. 5 bolts w/washers needed from the hardware store.
  11. i`ve pushed cars around the yard with my brat, and haven`t bent a bumper. those built in guards front and rear are strong.
  12. why, you plan on ramming into some stuff? truthfully, it'd be tough to make something that would look any better. it may be tougher for an offroad rig, but a heavy bumper will look silly on a road rig....
  13. i might be interested. which style is it? how much would you take for it? thanks Jon
  14. fast from the git go from a roll or fast as in "high roller" i`d say gen 1s are high rollers if anything. maybe from a roll in 3rd from 40 mph
  15. i`m digging that tow hitch, but it is kinda pricey. looks like a nice setup, might have to copy that design.
  16. yes, but its kind of a bad one. the brat looks better now:grin:
  17. meeky moose (Tony) in VA used to have a set. not sure what happened to them though.
  18. if its an fe you can expect 30+mpg in stock form, hence that fe stands for "fuel Efficient" also the fe's have slightly higher compression and a few other different internals.
  19. are you the original owner? is that the original motor? thats impressive, you should sell it to Subaru of America when you are done with it!
