  1. negative I don't.I am selling my 93 legacy but im looking to get 800-1000 out of it so I can buy a welder.

  2. define cheap.

  3. make room in your PM box.

  4. I woulda kept the heater.some times it gets cold out wheeling.
  5. I don't have rubbing now,But im putting 31X10.50X15's on it.With the EA82 front suspension I have plenty of room to put them on the front, but the back is going to take some work.
  6. Got it figured out.Major facepalm moment. It started going in as soon as I started turning it.
  7. How hard would it be to move the rear suspension on an 84 wagon back an inch or two for better clearance for tires?Even with a lift for the rear the limiting factor on tire size is the close proximity to the rear door.So I'm wondering how hard would it be to move the whole assembly back a bit. That or just push tires back a bit. thanks in advance
  8. I got a EA82 suspension set from a car that that had been sitting in a field for a while. The right front brakes were seized up about about as good as whats possible.the pads were frozen to the rotor, the pads were rusted to caliper, and the piston on the caliper is seized. What is the best way to free up a stuck caliper piston? Ive tried hitting it,spraying with PB blaster, using a c clamp on it,but it still wont budge.
  9. are the third light assembly's worth anything without a grill?I have an 82 wagon In that condition. EDIT: come to think of it I know of another subaru in the same shape, also with a third eye.
  10. I vote for more lift to make the subi a 4wd prerunner...
  11. Is it normal to need to use a come a long to pull the suspension back far enough to get the rubber bushing and the bolt started?
  12. I am trying to take the tie rods off my 83 wagon.I know there is a washer that is bent over the tie rod inner joint to lock it in place.Just how exactly is that washer supposed to come off in one piece?
  13. Im using the EA82 control arms and struts/knuckles.With the stock EA82 rods I can not get them to even go into the hole on the EA81 mount. looks like I need to find a long 6 sided 17 mm socket to get those bolts on the radius rods off. as far as the tie rods go,can I lengthen the stock EA81 rods 1",then use a die grinder to make it so that the tie rods go down through the knuckle for less severe angles rather than up through the knuckle as in stock?Or do I need to use EA82 stuff? Also if the EA82 tie rods are 1.5" longer how does lengthening the stock rods 1" work?Wouldn't there be massive toe in?
  14. I had a set with bad vibs on me.turns out someone at GCK didn't put enough grease in the DOJ.DOJ's got so hot they burned off the boots. Then they were done a few miles after that. That axle had less than 50 miles...
  15. Ok I have the EA82 strut and EA82 control arm in place. What do I for the radius rod?Right now I can't seem to get it to go into the EA81 mount. It seems to need at least 2" or better of length added to it which doesn't seem right.
  16. I would offer to post my car but I imagine you probably want cars that look nice.So with that being said I imagine you want cars with enough lift to not need any bashing/cutting.
  17. set it up to read in inches per minute.that way it "looks" like your going fast...
  18. pics or it didn't happen.
  19. ok anyone have any idea about brakes?

  21. 1: what is the proper way to remove the inner tie rod ends on an EA81 and EA82? 2:just making sure here: All NA manual axles have the same splines regardless of FWD/4wd correct?I know the turbo/auto axles are different. 3: Are the front brakes on an EA81 the same as EA82 front brakes? If not same will they atleast bolt up?

idle: check to make sure that the throttle is not sticking slightly open.If that checks out spray carb cleaner over ALL the vacuum lines in the engine. If idle changes as your doing that you found a vacuum leak.Replace that hose, then continue on down the line until you have no vacuum leaks.

if fixing all the vacuum leaks doesn't fix your problem, Post a new thread in old gen subaru forum asking about how to tune the carb.
