battery going dead
anytime the car sets for about a day the battery dies. we can jump start it and run it but the next day it's dead again. it's a new battery. i disconnected the battery for a few days and reconnected it today and it starts fine. so the car is draining it. anyone have any ideas. this is for a 96 legacy 2.2

2009 forester
a friend of mine is thinking about buying a new forester. he was looking at the turbo model. they salesman told him you can only run premium gas in it or it could do somthing to the turbo and the warranty won't cover it, anyone know anything about this.

legacy with 26" tire?
my 205/75-15 general grabbers measure 26.8 according to tirerack.com. i have outback struts on my car and they just fit. i have maybe 1/4 inch between my rockers and tire. they also rub on the rear mud flaps when hitting bumps. i'm gonna say no because even if they did fit in the wheel openings they would probably rub on the struts.

yeah i was pretty sure they were the same. i've parked next to alot of outbacks with my legacy and my legacy has more ground clearance. this wouldn't be the case if the outback springs gave more lift.- outback struts
from what i've heard outback springs are the same size as stock legacy springs and will not give you any lift- outback struts
mine has outback struts and stock springs with 205/75-15 tires. rubs on rear mudflap a little and rubs when steering wheel is fully turned.- pics from today

rafko, rebuilding brake calipers.- General Tire: Grabber AT2
i only have somewhere between 5000 - 8000 miles on them. but they still look like new. i think they are supposed to be good for 60,000 miles if my car is still running good when they wear out i'll get another set. i also just bought a set for my jeep a few weeks ago 31x10.50-15. they are no super swamper but i think they work really good. they also work very well in snow/ice.- General Tire: Grabber AT2
i have a set on my 90 legacy 205/75-15. great tires. i take my car up in the mountains and play in the mud/snow. a guy i know takes his jeep up there i went everywhere the jeep went. many times people have told me i couldn'd go somewhere because it's a car and i have proven them wrong.- What did everybody do about shift linkage on lifted eas
90 legacy 4wd, outback struts, 205/75-15 general grabber at2's on aluminum wheels painted gold, and a set of hella 500 lights. thats all i've done to it so far. 90 legacy fwd. pretty much stock except for the exhaust. it needs a paint job its like 5 different colors. i work in lock haven so you might have seen one of them at some point.- What did everybody do about shift linkage on lifted eas

pamike replied to pamike's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXi was thinking they would be strong enough i just wanted another opinion. me and a few friends of mine like to go up on the mountain roads sometimes when we get snow and you never know when someone will need pulled or i will need pulled.- tow hooks
on my 90 legacy i have 2 in the front and 1 in the back. how strong are these. are they designed only for when the car is broke down to tow it? or can i put a chain on there and pull someone out of the mud without the risk of breaking them off.- Other cars/Vehicles we own

pamike replied to pamike's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXif i'm going down a hill will all 4 wheels hold my back or will just the front. what i mean is do the rear wheels kick in or do they only work when i'm on the gas.- 90 leg awd question
it's an auto trans. when i put the trans in 1 the car holds back (engine breaking). does this effect only the front wheels or all the wheels - outback struts
