a friend that is in the USMB told me that changing the original ea82 vacuum advance with two tubes from the disty, with a ea81 vacuum that has only one tube, it makes faster advance. he said 2wd models has faster advance than 4wd.

i need to know the numbers for the rear ball bearings (small and big) that are in the drum brake, for a gl wagon. not the subaru part number, the standard number, becuase the bearings are too damaged to read the numbers. i searched and i am not sure, thanx!!

i asked dad, he says stay with ej22 parts, they use r134a gas, non compatible with the old parts for r12 gas and ej22 compresor does much presure for old parts

there are many subarus ff1 and g here, still moving,, and some older sambars, ect

dad find some parts from other subarus and some non subarus that can work in the rex -i hope so- searching i find this site with tecnical information about the rex: http://www.cars-directory.net/specs/subaru/rex/1981_0/29751/

how coolant goes to pistons? if fail is erratic, it maybe a leak on the intake gaskets

here always is sugested to change clutch disc , pressure plate, and pilot bearing at same time, if not you will need to change they soon one after one..
