I'm almost done with my 3.7-3.9 LSD conversion. I'm ready to install the LSD inners into the open diff case. I know I need to ground down something in the case. I'm not quite sure what I need to grind. Are the circled tabs what needs to be removed? I just want to check before I do something stupid. Thanks,

yeah I was able to hit portland at about 3pm when I left Reno at 6a if I remember right. Of couse that was in a 2.5 rs, so add another hour for the gutless ea81s. 205 has its share of traffic, but its the fastest way to get to Vancouver none the less. We are going to hit some traffic no matter what we do. OH! Can I get all your guys Cell phone numbers again. I ran over my phone a few weeks ago and I lost all my numbers. Just pm me.

Yeah that’s an idea. There is an extended stay and a few other hotels next to my old apartment off the 205 in Vancover. Take the Mill Plain exit to Chkalov and its right across from Freddy’s. In the morning we can dump right on the 205 which intercepts i5. I dunno just an idea.

Well Dave it looks like its just us leaving from Nevada. I usually take 395 to 44 to 89 and that pops out in Shasta and I take 5 the rest of the way. But.... I may have to pick up Scott in Chico. So I'm really not sure whats going on yet. I'll keep you all posted.

Why does it even matter if the engine or transmissions or vin number match up? Who cares! As long as it passes smog that all that matters. California seems to be getting more and more crazy through the years. Sorry dude!

The front speakers wont fit where the door pocket is because the way the door is made. I went a head and rewired all the speakers so no more common ground BS. A few pics....

Its attached to the oil pump. You can't miss it, its a big gold unit with a wire sticking out of it.

Check the oil pressure sending unit. Maybe the wire fell off?

Just remove the glove box. Right behind that you will find the controller. You need to feel around with your hand on top of the fan box. When this controller fails it will make a clicking noise and then totally dies.

I have had the same problem happen on 2 of my Legacys. I can't remember the name of the controller so I took a picture of it. It controls the compressor cycle so the compressor wont freeze up. Its like a temperature control unit with a thermocouple that hooks into the evaporator. I think this is your problem... Here is the picture... good luck.

Has anyone tried the Auto RX product? I have the same problem with my 98 transmission. Im desperate to find a fix rather then replace the transmission again!
