  1. Jerry I'm assuming you had a lathe, how dificult would you think it would be to maintain proper balance if you used, say, an angle grinder?
  2. From what I can tell the ea81 weighs about 140-160 just based on the difficulty level of lifting it dry
  3. Hmmm. Rusted to crap or not I guess I'll be getting them from the junk yard soon... Damn...
  4. Don't we all just love fart cans:banana:  I've considered the 4x100 redrill. A ton of cars use tat pattern. Honda, nissan, chevy, just to name a few. But that still leaves the problem of crap for brakes. And even lowered that thing has horrid wheel gap
  5. PLEASE many vidoes of this are a must...
  6. One option to this would be foresight. Knowing to back the car into the garage and not pull it in.
  7. That one seriously looks like forth knox from my shoes:mad: Thats why I started crying early saturday, and I am still depressed today.
  8. LOL, sound it out.... Just a more "entuiastic" damn. Ya know kinda like when that drop dead gorgeous woman walks by... DAYUM!!!
  9. That brat brings back so many memories of my white 86.
  10. I don't think it would be a problem. But I've never done it either. The worst that could happen is you've gotta get another new axle right.
  11. True. But a lot of electronis crap on them is. At least the older models
  12. What about the intake into the turbo's. Looks like a full custom 2-1 into the maf right. And all this into a Brat??? DAYUM:headbang: :headbang:
  13. Well I can attest to the strength of a 98 legacy v. a deer at 70mph. I wasn't even sore afterward. Just mad as hell. Replaced hood, fender, headlight, and turn signal. After I paint it in the spring it won't even show.
  14. Ok, I gotta then. I knew I'd been near it but couldn't place wherre exactly it was.
  15. Anyways. That is a quite impresive mod list. I remember reading over that. Good luck with the car and please be safe. BTW. When do you think you'll get it back on the dyno?
  16. I'm not trying to scold you, or ridicule. I have done it many many many times. Just be careful and watch for the police. They just love street racers.
  17. Didn't see and headers. A bunch of nice cars, and a shot of a wrx looking flange on an uppipe.
  18. What frame is that. Old 4runner? Looks a lot longer than my dad's yota truck.
  19. Who needs cats... Anyway the wrx has 1 o2 in the uppipe, before the pre-cat. EJ22t's are right directly behind the turbo in the down pipe, just a few inches past the turbo
  20. Auto terminology isn't my strong point. Thanks for the correct name. I'll try and remember that.
  21. I'd also hang onto the center diff section, and keep it intact. You never know when a board member my have toque bind on an early 4eat and you may save them a ton of money with that.
  22. I'm with him. And no need to try and insult the inteligence of the fellow members by saying its a closed course.... We can all see the road signs.
