  1. I'm not really into the off road myself, but I would enjoy taking a ride on the lifted side through the woods, lol. I've been somewhat of a recluse the last few months, just simply got burnt out with the internet, mainly my internet provider and their problems. But I'm back again.
  2. We need to meet up sometime in that area, I'm glad to see more of us popping up around here, lol.
  3. Labor, wiring, and parts. And the search function. Its all here.
  4. Youcould do a thin skim of grease on the weather stripping to check for weak spots in the seal. I couldn't remember, something told me thats where it was though. I know my broken antenna was the source of a small leak when I got the xt.
  5. Its the axle... Got a bum one for mom's legacy last year and it vibrated the car somethin bad on the interstate.
  6. Check your weather stripping for tears or cracks, window seals.... Where is the antenna on a coupe?
  7. The ones that have been a pain in my rear before have been due to corrosion inside the holes, joining the studs on the bottom with the aluminum case. It would be good practice a few days before hand to spray the snot out of the bolts with pb blast, or your prefered lubricant spray.
  8. Someone in this area has an ej Brat??? How the hell did I not hear of this sooner???
  9. From the looks of it you've got oil pan leakage, and probably valve cover seapage playing into the problem too. I like the idea, but I also doubt its effectiveness.
  10. The roll bars were a factory/dealer installed option. Dad's yellow 78, blue 80, or silver 79 brat's didn't have them in there. Nor were there any markings indicating removal.
  11. Yeah, paypal is a good question... Anybody who wants to split an order of the 5x100's pm me.
  12. Depending on your skill level you can grease the speedo cable yourself. You'll have to disassemble the dash trim around the cluster, and then remove the cluster itself. You will then have access to the cable. Use some good quality grease, not sure whats recommended for this area, and get it down in there as good as you can.
  13. That would take a great deal of creativity. You would have to fabricate mounts for the injectors, modify ej22 fuel rails, redo the entire fuel piping on the engine, and then deal with the electrics of it all.
  14. My suspision is bad new axle. I've seen it happen on quite a few subaru's personally. If you have a spare set of known good ea81 axles I'd take them with you and swap them in. What part of KY do you live in?
  15. I'm rolling premiers on the xt untill i can get the 5 lug together.
  16. It can be done, but its a lot of hassle for a still underpowered engine. If you are looking for power search up the retrofitting forum for ej22 swaps.
  17. As long as they aren't bent, gashed, or curbed too bad they could be media blasted and refinished.
  18. Doesn't look too bad man, I would look around some of the junk yards and find some alloys for the old girl though.
  19. If this is the impreza you have listed under vehicle then it has a speedo cable. And it could be running out of grease. Check under the car for any loose plastic that might be flapping in the breeze while you drive.
  20. CTS=Coolant Temp Sensor Have faith, the car is 20 years old and problems will arise. My most recent purchase was the cause of grey hair for an older fellow for 5 years that he couldn't get it to run right. Turns out it had a corroded junction for the wires to injectors 1&2. All it needed was a fresh set of eyes, solder and a two inch section of wire to be a reliable daily driver. Keep your cool and go at this one logicly. It will work out.
  21. From your gallery, looks you're taking every step possible to keep that thing as beautiful, and rust free, as the day you got it. Looking good!!!!
  22. Pm'd on this matter... If there is still a set unclaimed by deposit next thursday and Gloyale wants to split an order count me in.
