  1. No oil doesn't matter with Engine. I still run 10w-40 in my EJ22. So running any grade of oil you want (Within Reason) in a Subaru engine isn't gonna hurt it. Just don't run 5w-30. In most everyday driving cases - Synthetics don't really live up to their potential. And if your worried about Oil breaking down with RPMs, Don't be. I run Conventional 10w-40 in my EA82 and I run it 3500-4000rpm all day on the interstate. "This is not Neurological Science, we're not building Bugatti Vyrons. This is a Subaru."
  2. EA82s tend to like a little thicker oil (Even during Winter) I run 10w-40, you can also run 15w-40 if you want. It isn't going to hurt anything. I run Castrol GTX. I don't like synthetic oils and to me, really aren't work the extra money. -Tom
  3. Not much more so, The AT isn't really gutless right now anyway. It still has about the same get up and go as it did with the 13s. but I have more topend on the interstate now due to the larger diameter.
  4. I have found a picture of "The Scoobys" Wagon with 27x9.5 14s. Does anyone know how much lift he has on it? I will PM him, but incase I don't get a reply does anyone else know. people who have wheeled with him or whatnot. Cause as you can see the BFG Long Trail T/As aren't the most aggressive tire Lol. But its done its job ever since - so I can't complain.
  5. I do have the Grabber as my 5th wheel (Spare) so I might go with them. Does anyone have pictures of the 27" Swampers on their Subaru?
  6. Oh, yeah I still see a few of the 2nd gen and 3rd gen Outback sedans around. I wish they would have kept making them. They're just cool!
  7. I would love to be in the Car when you do that just to see the look on the other guys face. "That little foreign bugger, beat me off the line!)
  8. I've only seen one Beat up white one in WI once. And that was it - Besides at the junk yard :-\
  9. Yes thats how this site is set up to, but for some reason your not getting that option. Try contacting McBrat or ShawnW as I know both of them personally.

  12. In answer to 987687, Go to carquest or some parts house and but the 3M headlight restore kit, about $20. It works amazing, right back to the crystal clear finish. This one of the only kits I have used which worked.
  13. At least your locks work, mine are all manual for now since the GT door doesn't have the Acuator in it. Plus the harness clip doesn't have all the same prongs.
  14. I know this post has nothing to do with Subarus what so ever, But you have to admit, this is the funniest thing you will see today, I guarantee it! Enjoy - Tom. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0-lkl9TzsU&feature=player_embedded
  15. The axle boot is long taken care of, Legacy DOJ boot fits just fine on an EA axle! I'm running on 205/75/R14 BFGoodrich Long Trail T/As which are a good tire, but I want something more aggressive.
  16. Alright, I looked up the Swampers at Intercotires.com - they rate the tire at 27.4" OD, do you think thats close to correct? Do you have a set of these on anything you can snap a picture of? Cause remember, I'm dealing with a 2" lift and trimmed fenders, I still have some room for rubber, but how much is unknown.
  17. Alright, so I am planing on getting better tires on for my 14" pugs. I am look at either Grabbers or Big Horns. Which tire is larger? From what I can see in pictures of the Big horns, they look pretty skinny and not to tall - is this right? I know they are lised at 27x8.5 but the Grabbers look bigger. I'm looking for some good pictures of both tires on a Subaru. So post it up please. Tire specs I could find: Grabbers - 26.8" 8.5 Wide. Big Horns - 26.4" 8.5 Wide. I'd like to see them on a Subaru to get better judgement. Cheers, -Tom
  18. The Rear gate spoiler? http://www.subarupartsforyou.com/cp_partdetail.php?partid=12391
  19. Well I would save your self some money and not buy the TB covers. They only make doing Timing belts take longer and of course sometimes break due to stuck bolts. I run both my Soobs coverless and am happy about it, I can check and adjust the belt whenever needed.
  20. I hear that, I've only got $14 till next friday. This Legacy is coating me to much to rebuild and it still isn't completely fix
