  1. I guess you haven't road in my EA82 then, Its loud inside (I don't know an old Subaru that isn't) I enjoying hearing the vehicle, even on long trips at interstate speeds. funny thing is even if I have a headache the sound of the car kinda relaxes it. "Soothing sounds of the FLAT-4" I'm gonna make a sound therapy CD for the masses!
  2. At carpet machine would suck all that dust out (With water) try to suck up as much dust with the vac before you clean it with a carpet machine (It'll clog up other wise) Or just rip the carpeting out and paint the floor with hurculiner!
  3. Thanks man, your Forester looks nice and low (But in a good way!)
  4. Waukesha Co. Muddin' hy18 (Wales Area)
  5. Mantis, The dash is of a '95 Legacy/Outback. Your EA82 is looking nice!
  6. Just pointing out that this thread has had well over 50,000 (56,019) views to date! More then any other thread on USMB. and is close to 1300 posts - Is that something or what! -Tom
  7. Tamiya Clear Red paint works! What ya'll think?
  8. Cool alright, yeah whenever works for me - I never have an planed things going on for the most part, unless I'm doing something for Fox. Yeah Rockauto has one from Beck/Arnley for about $303. How much did you pay may I ask? Cheers!
  9. You can get it on Rockauto last time I checked. Jon, I might convoy out to the yard with you instead of riding shotgun. I figure if Mike sees my car he'll know who I am. Other wise he might just be an rump roast. You gonna take hy18 to hy12? I know you can take 94 there, but it seems like a PITA cause then you'd have to come down and whatnot. Other way is pretty much a straight shot.
  10. This is gonna be my last post about this in this thread - so we don't clutter it up. But my thought on it is, lets say I got this AWD Legacy stuck in deep deep snow or on a slippery mud hill or something where the AWD just can't adjust to it. I would turn the switch on to get out/unstuck then turn it off. That would only be the times I'd use it. But really, its gonna take pretty much to get this thing stuck with 27" grabbers and the amount of torque the EJ puts out (145 ft.lbs) Thats just my take on it. Sorry for chatting up your thread Mark. -Tom
  11. I will totally check those threads out, and thanks for the info on the diff. Thanks! Gary, I can understand that thanks for clearing that up. Yeah I don't forget nor abuse things like that and would only use it in mud, snow etc. and then turn it off. Basically I look at this mod for being a helper off-road rather then relying on the AWD system its self. I will post in those threads if I have any more questions after reading them, thank you -Tom
  12. Alright sounds good, You will have to get an alignment afterwards since you can't go with (The clean threads on the tie-rod) since everything is gonna be new. New BJs are a must, I'm running MOOG in mine and wow what a difference. Either way any brand will feel good. Yeah I'll roll with you out to Cambridge this weekend.
  13. I did some searching and found that doing this might end up burning up the solenoid if used to much. So just let me get this straight, switching this solenoid would allow for 50/50 Torque split like the older 4WD systems onto an AWD trans which is like 35/65? Not trying to change the topic at hand (Sorry) -Tom
  14. Some more pictures of the GL. I took these Firday when I met Jon. Hope you don't mind if i post these..? -Tom
  15. Cool! Sounds like the next step for TW10. Are there any right ups on it or threads? -Tom
  16. Yep bottom left (Facing engine) I was trying to show you but there was to much crap in the way Lol. The other temp sender is up by your thermostat (Thats what controls the temp gauge) try cleaning those contacts for the hell of it as sometimes they get dirty/coroded. Scott, yea I was shocked (Not the Shocker either) but he was in a good mood today, maybe he was having a bad do before.
  17. What about on a AT? I though since the fluid isn't being moved the AT trans would burn up? I am speaking for a part-time 4WD and an AWD trans. -Tom
  18. Put Forester Tweeters in TW10. Just rigged them up Trashwagon style.
  19. That looks great! Thats what I'm going for. -Tom
  20. Lol, just wait. There is also a Dark Blue '94 GT wagon and a 22E Toyota Camper. These are all MilesFox's cars (Except TW10)
  21. Trash-Fleet
  22. It was $25 for two headrests and two Tweeters.
