  1. The Cat bolts to the header, I don't remember if its set up the same on the first gens
  2. What tires are those? Kinda funny, you have an EA82 (Body) and a Legacy - and I have an EA82 and a Legacy
  3. Headers are still in one piece even after some urban baja!
  4. Run NGK Plugs and Wires - they are of the same quality and less then a genuine part. Buy a Genuine PCV. Clean out all the Air intake hoses.
  5. I'm thinking either the switch or relay is getting old, as it starts working fine after a little bit. Maybe somethings worn and the contacts are touching wrong causing it to show the wrong indicator, by driving it the contacts move enough to hit right and work correctly. Thats just a guess, if it was shorting - they either wouldn't work at all/blow a fuse or it would be really dim and look funny. -Tom
  6. Yep, plastic sucks! As bad as those window latches for truck windows.
  7. What about latches from an 80s BMW? These look similar to the ones on our old '81 320i. Just a though
  8. Thank you, Thats a thought!
  9. OH! thats a Beatle! Looks like a 40s Dodge or something in that shot. But I see it being a VW now. Thanks
  10. I don't know of any truck stops around this area.. Maybe off of 894 going torwads IL..? But I ain't driving that far for some dope bulbs
  11. Scott, that link is great! Finally LED lights that are cheep!
  12. Because you have the title mistaken, If you look up Vanishing Point you'll see its a totally different movie/story line
  13. No way really! duh. I mean the old one on the side of the garage..
  14. How good does that work? Might just do that if I can't find those little rubber cover things. I was thinking of changing the dash light color in the Legacy I've seen TW5 had red lights so I thought I'd mimic that Lol.
  15. Does anyone know where you can get those small push in bulbs for the backlight on a dash cluster? Do they make Red ones? All the ones I find are clear. -Tom
  16. Its a side street and there isn't crew working (Its pouring like hell out) I don't drive like that if Crew workers are out. The road is all mud!
  17. Did some Urban Baja with Trashwagon! http://s189.photobucket.com/albums/z146/1992Roo/Mobile%20Uploads/?action=view&current=0722001143.mp4
  18. Urban Baja..! http://s189.photobucket.com/albums/z146/1992Roo/Mobile%20Uploads/?action=view&current=0722001143.mp4
  19. I know Jon wants to pull some inner fender walls (Plastic insert) and whatever else. I'm just going and might pull some random things that I know you don't have Fox. I want to see if any of those 2nd gen Legacys they have, have the (Optional) tweeter speakers in the door. And anything else I may find. I'm gonna come out by you later saturday shoot the breaze and whatnot, have a hootinanny hoot! When do you want to get cracking on that XT6 "Monster"
  20. Scott, sure I can grab those. I dunno who has was, he had dark short hair - in his 30s. He charged me $25 for a Legacy grille, I'm like really - I'm the only guy thats gonna buy this so why not drop the price, if I walk you just lost the sale for that item. But at least you can walk around unlike most these yards.
  21. Briggs, Awesome with the painters tape on it Lol! I like those factory wheels yo! Whats that oldie behind it, A Dodge?
  22. Sure, I'm always game for walking around a bone yard. I have a tool box full'o subaru wrenchin' tools in my car (Metric)
  23. As for the fan not kicking on, sounds like it could be the temp sender (The one which tells the fan to kick on) if I'm not mistaken there are two temp senders, one for the gauge and the other is for the fan (I could be wrong on that) Also keep in mind, dropping the crossmember for a 3" lift (You'd be dropping the engine crossmember 1" or 2") your gonna need to make your brake lines longer. You will also be dropping the rear diff down for a 3". You could just get a 2" kit like Scott and I did. Buy one from Bill "The Beast I Drive" as his is was cheeper then Scotts "Scott In Bellingham/SJR" kit. Theres a Blue EA82 wagon out at Al's salvage off hy36. you could pull the liners and anything else off it. And yes, the tires will clear the liners just fine (Even with out a lift) but you will need to trim the front-most and rear-most lips on the front fenders to clear the tire while turning.
  24. Hey, Dunno if you got my reply PM. I can stop out any time and check out ur car. Let me know when you are free. As for the temp, sounds maybe like a HG. I would swap out the Thermo for a Genuine one first and see how the temp reacts. Could be the Thermo sticking closed at times. Fox, He imported this car from NC. Scott posted a picture of this car once ironically.
