  1. Wow, those look killer on there! Nice job.
  2. Went down to IL and picked up some clean blue Floor mats from Dodge Aries K, now I'll have something to put down once I get the carpeting back in. I also adjusted my front struts today, they looked like this before. Now their like this. I'll have to adjust the rear once its back on the car.
  3. I want to say Brat, Hatch and Coupe' are all the same, as they all have the longer style door, not found on Sedans or Wagons.
  4. Ah, it has the Cruise control buttons on the side. Didn't see that before
  5. Wow, thats really clean. At least to me since I live in the Salt Belt where everything rots. I love the lines on these Saloons, has similarities to that of a BMW 320i and 2002. I'll be watching this thread! -Tom
  6. Woo! We need to see this!
  7. Awesome steering wheel, don't see that see to often.
  8. Very cool videos I found on youtube, it must have been some type of Aussie review video or something. Pretty cool IMO
  9. Front fenders are the only thing that needed to be trimmed. I did that before I have the fenders repainted. The rear wheel wells will clear, mine just rotted away before I got the car, so oops. zzz
  10. Welcome! Thats pretty cool about the GLF, there weren't a whole lot of GLF models in the states, so having one in the UK must be right proper! As for posting pictures, you can open a free Photobucket account, or any photo hosting site, and then upload your photos from the PC, and then copy and paste the IMG code in the text box while replying, your photo will then show up after you post the new comment. Cheers, -Tom
  11. If you change plugs, you want to run NGK-BKR5EGP or BKR6E11. Great plugs, decent price. EJ18 plugs might be the same length, but don't quote me on that. As long as they are the same length from the nut, down to the electrode, you are good. Don't want to put a hole in your pistons now that the motor runs good. Amazing how a little o-ring can cause such an issue, eh?
  12. That wil serve you well! plus if you break something, Sears will give you another for free. Its amazing!
  13. Yep, Every EA82 I've ever been in had slow power windows (So does my Landcruiser) its most likely like Tom said, lack of grease in the track will slow them down, also, the window switches them selfs are sometimes an issue, they are a rocker style with little metal tabs on the inside, they tend to get corroded and don't make good contact. Also, it could be the motors, they need grease and cleaning. I still need to get to that issue on my wagon, easy though -Tom
  14. 2" SJR Lift kit, with 14" Peugeot wheels and 27" Bighorns. Everything else is stock
  15. Picked up a Factory Glove box light and switch out of an '82 Hatch.
  16. Is that SubaruCity? They told me '85 when I went there in serach of an '83 Fuel Tank. It could be a dealer thing, but I think SOAs datebase is '85 and newer.
  17. I usually buy Fel-Pro gaskets and seals, as a lot of times they are genuine seals. Head gaskets for one, are stamped with the Fuji logo so I've found. NAPA should be able to order you a seal kit (Top end and Bottom end) I think Rockauto.com has them as well. Cheers.
  18. I take it to some old dude, he has seen all the vehicle builds and tire combos I run. So I don't think he'll have an issue. Just mount the tire, if the wheels fall off while I'm driving, its my problem
  19. Funny you should say that about the Alt, I was suspecting it to fail at some point, the armature was starting to wine before I did the trans swap. I don't understand the MPG, that car was always funky even when it sported factory exhaust and proper size wheels. Great there are no oil leaks! Guess I sealed everything good.
  20. These are the tires I'm thinking of running on the wheels. Mel Gibson looks thrilled about it!
  21. How come no one welds up the other un-unsed holes? I plan on doing it. Just need a chunk of Brass I can place behind the hole and then fill with weld, then grind smooth. Problems with this? I don't see any.
  22. I agree with trying other old Subaru keys. I have a wad (I mean a WAD) of old Subaru keys I keep taking from the Junkyard, so far, 5 of them work in my Loyale (One came from a '93 Impreza L) My original Legacy key worked in my buddies car, and so did a few others I had. Amazing. No subaru is safe Yes, the dealer can get you a key cut from your VIN, BUT Subaru can only use VINs dating from 1985 and newer so my dealer told me.
