My '83 GL: The Ski Wagon
Awesome! Maybe I'll regain my eye sight by then. The tank will probably be all crushed due to transit, cause we all know how good the USPS is

Official 6-Lug Re-drill Thread: Now in the USRM!
The Colorado wheels probably have a closer offset to the Subarus, mainly its the old 70s/80s GM wheels which stick out a lot

Official 6-Lug Re-drill Thread: Now in the USRM!
Chevy wheels have a very incorrect offset and will stick out of the wheel well, and will result in cutting the fenders drastically, fyi. As for filling holes, good thought on possible warpage of the rim.

Finally! Back in a Subaru.
What are the front fenders like on that Hatch? Rotted and missing sections?

Finally! Back in a Subaru.
Not an EA81 but, my Loyale only used little over 1/4 tank going to and coming back from Beliot, which is 60+ miles each way, put on about 124miles. I was running it at 4500rpm at 80mph most of the way back. I also have 27" tires and a roof rack, so its not the most economical. lol.

My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
Which is why I pushed my car up to 4500rpm and started passing the people whom passed me Lol! I can't imagine what it sounded like as I passed them. Although, this car is not squirrly with these heavier wider tires!

My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
Either way, if I'm going 65mph on the interstate, people still pass me at whole sale.

Mine are actually slightly bigger then yours (Thats what she said) (My Spare Grabber is a little smaller then the Bighorns) I checked my speed via Speed radar on the side of the road, but god only knows how accurate that really is lol...

You have dunes in MI? I don't think we have them in WI? We also don't have any OHV/ORV parts either.

What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
Thats funny, the valve covers I got are from a Hydro lifter motor as well. Hmmm. Guess they got lazy on mine

How come your Valve covers have the Fuji stamping and mine don't?

Yes. Doesn't really matter since I'm going with the 16" Spokes.

I agree with the 2nd site as well. I will check it out when I order. Did some more welding today, I was on a roll once I got started. I am also planning on picking up EA82 Front struts, Knuckles, Axles, Brakes from Dodge Aries K. I plan on swapping the larger EA82 front brakes onto the GL at some point, I might also be getting onto a rear disc set up from Subruise as well. The rear disc might either go on this car, or the Loyale, Or I'll pick up a second set and swap both vehicles.

Also, has anyone made a custom UEL Header for their EA81 or EA82? I am looking at building my own Header and whole exhaust on the Ski wagon (As everything is rotted and patched) I am looking for a picture of an EA UEL header (Non-Turbo header) just to get an idea of how to wrap it in front of the Oil pan.

I am going to order the wheels from this place. Even with Shipping, it is $25 cheaper them other sites. http://www.southwestwheel.com/store/p-393-nw128699.aspx This place offers free shipping on orders $99-up but the total comes to $250 vs $225. http://www.trailerandtruckparts.com/ Which site looks more trustworthy?

So,I got another (Rust free) set of EA81 Vale covers, and repainted them. I am looking at new Gaskets for them, I am going with Fel-Pro. But my question is, do I reuse the metal grommets that were on the Covers, or do I buy new ones? Rockauto does not list the grommets. Hmm.- Crazy revving on startup
Thats what I like to hear! I was coming back from South Beloit, I should have stopped and checked out ur swap and such!- My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
Its about 5mph off. So if m Speedo says 75 I'm really going 80.- My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
Gave the old girl a workout today going down to IL. I used the downgrade to my advantage, once I got up to 80mph it held up there pretty easy all the way back (Even on upgrades) The car felt more alive once I got into town, sure does 55mph a lot easier and quicker. Needed the old Italian Tune-up! - My '83 GL: The Ski Wagon
