  1. Thanks Scott.
  2. Yeah I had a good time even through three broken axles and driving a car that was absolutely worthless on the trail. I think that was the day the hatch became dead to me.
  3. Lifting it and maybe an EJ swap. I plan on posting pictures of the progress. I had a hard time finding a sedan with 4wd at a reasonable price, there are a lot more wagons out there.
  4. I tried the axle swap and they continued to pull apart. I had some pretty bad rust where the diff hanger attached. there wasn't a straight body panel on it anymore and unfortunately it was worth more in parts than it was whole.
  5. Evolution of a Subaru and a fond farewell. This was originally a free car that with a bit of elbow grease and a very small amount of money became a daily driver. Then I sold it to wicked36 so I could buy my brat. We then lifted it. Then I bought it back from him because he was moving cross country. After replacing more axles than I care to count. I grew tired of looking at it and decided to turn the wrenches on her one more time. Most parts will transfer straight over to my new project which I am very exited about. Calling Scott and Jeff. I will soon be joining you at walker valley:banana:
  6. My hatch took it's last ride on Wednesday, straight to Z's recycling. It was a bitter sweet feeling indeed.
  7. I know of a ea82 *edit* (wagon) with a 4" lift and swampers plus a blown head gasket. Might be had fairly cheap let me know if you know anyone interested. Later man -Rob
  8. I agree! :headbang: What are you going to do with it? On another note I should be getting that sedan this weekend. Can't wait to hit the trails.
  9. I have been Lurking and with a heart full of envy. I am waiting for my next paycheck and I should be able to bring it home. Looks like it was a lot of fun. Did you have much trouble with the rear end open?
  10. The new style lifts just keep looking better and better:headbang:
  11. My buddy has one down south and I just need to drive down and hand the him the cash. :headbang: I figure in a month or maybe the Suby show.
  12. Looks like I missed out:( But from the look of those pics I would have probably just broke another axle. Once I have the sedan in my possession I won't miss another one.
  13. I want a lifted sedan. Bob the trunk and you will be big pimpin:)
  14. I use IrfanView to resize my pictures but most basic editing software will work as well.
  15. I am looking forward to it. Wish I had the room and the means to transport it or I would also be ordering steel.
  16. I think Scott is planning making it exactly 48" wide.
  17. EJ22T seems to command a fair price. I have seen a few wrecked ones and they still want $1500.
  18. Yeah it's way cooler with the door working. Now I just have to dig deep and find the motivation to wire it into the cab. One step at a time.
  19. Does anyone one know how to wire an aftermarket dpdt relay while still using the the stock switch? I have it working with a dpdt switch (without relay) but would really like to use the stock switch (with relay). My relay looks like this and yes I am using this more to show my mad paint shop skills than anything:grin:
  20. What is the donation time frame?
  21. Legacy seats are real nice and cheap
