  1. That thing cant weigh more then 1500lbs. A 150hp turbo motor would make that thing scream.
  2. Is there anyone on the board who can come help this person out. It sounds like shes haveing a heck of a time.
  3. Yea ill try my local guy first.
  4. Well you can always return it back to stock latter. Dont you want to be the guy with the ej33 Awd coupe. Pull up to some ricer. Hit the high note, bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. psh gone. Thats just me though, either way killer car. You really are the man in black.
  5. Thats why i say, EJ all the way.
  6. Buy the way, i couldnt resist. I did fire it up with the exhaust not hooked up to the engine. Awsome is the only word to describe it.
  7. How does it drive, i would think the convertable setup would make it way heavier then a normal coupe. EJ AWD all the way baby.
  8. Good luck with your search man. Yea thats the first ive heard about the justy 2
  9. Oh dont get me wrong i love fuel injection. But i hate electric wireing.
  10. Ill get right on that next weekend.
  11. That thing would scream with an ej motor. But for the sake of all less complication. A subaru ea81 would be good for something that light as well. And no computer mess to mess with.
  12. no i recently put on rear disc brakes so i had all that mess apart. Its not squeeking though or rattling. Ill get it tightened on more and yet you know if that was the problem. Its not a constant squeek or rattle i should say. Just sounds like something is loose. Yea it definately doesnt have 150 lbs or torque to it.
  13. My newly brakes are working good but i noticed some squeeking and popping on one of the sides. I can wiggle the wheel around alittle. When i pop off the wheel the castle nut is on but i can wiggle it back and forth. Seems the cotter pin is holding it onto the hub mostly. How tight does this need to be
  14. I havent taken the time to really look at my delema. I think i will consult my mechanic buddy at work to help me asses the situation. Get a good light on there and see how bad it is. Any one know where i can get another exhaust stud. I suppose when i look things over ill be better prepaired. Ben
  15. Im sorry GD. You seemed very passionate about your job and the product you worked on so im sorry. Any chance for a callback.
  16. WOW mick its like you were there or something. Yep i was careful i knew that dam aluminum would strip easy. They came out sooooo easy it wasnt even funny. Got everything lined up nice and easy. I get in 3 bolts but the 4th one wont go back in. I check i try i try i check nothing. I check and the thread got alittle messed up on the bolt so i chase them with a nut. Everything looks good, i try agai and this time it threads. As im tightening it up i realize there is no end to the tightening. I know what this means and shout out a barage swears im sure the neighbors didnt appreciate. The ONLY good news out of this is that its no louder then it was with bad old gaskets. Now my question is to my local suby bretheran. Ive got the drill and tap set but i dont know how much to do to it. Seems like it doesnt take much to ruin them. Any Advise.
  17. Ok so in an atempt to be cool and work on my car today i decided to change out my exhaust manifold gaskets. Ill let you guys take it from here.
  18. Whats the difference from putting it through the brake booster or the pcv valve.
  19. Im sure everyones got them but i thought i would rant. Man i cant seem to get things done on my car. Re-check the front end and the rear, finish up the body. Plus my wifes van needs some love and this new wagon maybe comming in needs some attention. On top of endless things around the house its just to much. I dont see how some of you other fellas and ladies on here keep your fleet running while holding down a full time job and family.
  20. If we could avoid the weekend of october 10th that would be great. ACDC concert.
  21. Probally timeing belt. Happens alot, when you replace it get the kit with the tensioners as well.
  22. Good, ive got some crap to bring over.
  23. My name is richard cunningham............. and this is my wife Oprah.
  24. To bad you guys have emissions up there tom, they let us get away with murder down here with that stuff. Yea my midpipe is rattling but i think ill replace it with either a straight pipe or a cherry bomb. As long as it doesnt get to much louder i dont mind. The really bad part is i think my cat is rattling also. I wont know until this weekend. I need to check my rear diff for fluid, check the passenger side rear wheel (has play) and the cat or resoner for noise. Might be getting a new wagon soon but shhhhhhhhhhhhhh dont tell.
