  1. http://www.roadrallycharities.com/mudcoast/ Kinda line the midcoast road rally i was talking about in september but sounds like some light muddin on gravel roads and level b roads. Should Be fun. Ben p.s. sign up at websight to participate.
  2. Humm, well good luck i guess i didnt see any leaves on it and it didnt look dirty so i just rump roast umed but we know where that leades.
  3. Doesnt look like its been sitting, it looks like a driver so if you do get it it wont be for free.
  4. I kinda find it funny you are complaning about spending 50 bucks for a running semi driveing car. I would of asked for 100 because thats what the scrap guys get. `
  5. ill send him to ya, as long as i get him back all shiney and white
  6. I thought por wasnt really sandable so i couldnt put a nice finish on my car. Oh and buy the way. Rock The DL Ken......
  7. you said that last time lol, believe me i would love to connie. find someone who truly knows what there doing unlike me who uses alot of finess.
  8. sand primer and bondo then paint over. But its so far into the metal like a inch after what i have treated it just retakes over what i straightned out. Its like some kinda gd monster. LOOK OUT HERE COMES. Rust
  9. The rust keeps spredding. Ive never seen it move this fast, i had done some light prep work before winter to finish it off this summer and man it looks like i hardly touched the thing.
  10. I think the wife might be game but honestly if no other wifes are going to go theres no point in mine going. Let me know but im definately in.
  11. Yea dont know if i could get the fam to go but id be game.
  12. I didnt see a spec of rust on any of those. I can tell you really liked that brat.
  13. y would you do that. Just tint them with window tint.
  14. I wanted to see pics of it being pulling from its doom. I love rescue storys.
  15. Having worked on carbed vehicles and Fuel Injected ones i would say that carbed is simpler but you cant bet the ease of FI. Ive heard lots of problems from these carbs for subarus not being jetted or adjusted right. SPFI is kinda plug and play. Sure youve got the added hastle of ecu and whatnot. Butt they seem to run better and you can get verticle offroad and not have the bowl flood.
  16. One of the few things holding me back from this is the wireing. Man looks like a rats nest.
  17. How old is indie, my eldest is 3. Would your wife go so if mine went she woudl have someone to talk to. Im not sure if she woudl be up to bringing the 2 1 year olds along though. She did enjoy camping the last time we went and im sure she would like to meet you guys. Just so she can figure out what the big deal is lol.
  18. If i were you i would definately go with the 15s. I do like how those pugs look on that butt i can see the offset being a problem. If you were to widen both front and rear wheel wells again, how would that look. Would the front stick out further then the front. With those 15inch weels, wide wells, and a low stance that would look sick. Buy what year and model is that white subaru with the 15inch pugs anyways.
  19. All this makes me think i need to be replaceing gear lube.
  20. I was in the neighborhood yesterday so i thought id stop buy and see said brat. I knocked but you werent home so i took a quick peek then took off. Ive never seen one up close before, its alot neater then i thought. Looks pretty clean, though shell need a fender. Would look good with a 3 inch or so lift and your old brat ss. Paint the wheels black though.
  21. Id tend to stick to skips advise. Check that out and let us know. Also you might want to think about a block heater since i dont think winters are going to get any easier. Talk to subymech85 about them.
  22. Nice, but we need to talk about your wash and wax problem.
  23. Did you let the gas sit in there all summer or did you run it. Possibly you might have some varnishing but i dont knw if that woudl happen from 1 year of sitting. When i had a car in storage (backyard:grin:) i started it once a month for 4 months and let it run 20 minutes each time. Was always good to me.
