  1. Thought i should add as well, The MS-1 at minimum does not use all the pins on the DB37 conector. I choose to run wires for the currently unused pins anyway just in case we decided to have the MS-1 control somthing else later. Such as cooling fans or a turbo whastgate solenoid. Just a good idea to think about when your making your harness.
  2. im using a stock fuel pump relocated under the hood on my weber, no regulator and it seems fine, i have a toggle switch to operate my pump and forgot to turn it off a few times, letting it pump all night, started rite up, didn't flood or anything. I love my webber! by far the best single upgrade i have done to my subie!
  3. mine was doing the same thing, added a couple of shims to pull it down a little more and leak fixed.
  4. i love how rock solid and simple weber's are, easy to pass the problem onto somthing else.
  5. Reading colder tahn it accully is would cause the ECU to richen the mixture, but still wouldn't rev without extra air.
  6. Most fuel injetion systems give very little priority to the O2 at an idle, usually somwhere around 8% swing AFR wich shouldn't couse an idle as high as your describing. I would think it's not the O2 sensor.
  7. amen to that, i get rid of everything that has no ideal funtion to it. i like clean compartments
  8. lots and lots and lots and lots and lots.... of reading man. I now have a much better understanding of fuel injection after this project by far. Fun upgrade with lots of features over stock and truly a learning expirience. And yes, it was worth it.
  9. uugg, don't get me wrong, i love subaru's just as much as anyone else here but im getting so sick of CV's:banghead:. Ive replaced so many that with the tools at the ready i can get them replaced in about 15-20 min. When are they gonna make a subaru application for one of these? http://www.cornay.com/index.cfm/CVX_vs_Legacy_Technologies
  10. did you check if the turn siganal or hazards were off?, lol, just playin man:lol:
  11. Durring the brain storm to come up with the idea to cut the roof out of his car i wonder if someone mentioned just getting a hitch and using a trailer......, "Trailer?, no bob that would just be to darn easy!" hahaha
  12. this is my nephew's car, I'll be saving all the goodies for RX-2.2t MS-2 project.......
  13. There's not to many car's (in my opinion) that look good in yellow, but that looks pretty good. I love the yellow the the baja's!

  15. Did you check to see if your getting power to the coil? are the nuts on the coil tight? coroded? check the fuse? plug wires in good shape and not rubbed thrue causing a ground? check the hall sensor with a multi meter.
  16. have a repair manual?, that might help ya. I could scan the the page and send it to ya if not.
  17. haha, your gonna need a bigger bucket!
  18. Nice car man!, that thing looks great!, My wife looking over my shoulder now wants me to get her one. haha
  19. Forgot to add. The legacy radiator had a "bubble" fill system on it, but that to was easily fixed with an adaptor found at most auto parts store's. As far as the hoses i stretched the bottom hose to fit the radiator and used a larger hose on top and just clamped it really tight, been in there the better part of 3 years and works great. I love the advantage of the bigger radiator on a really hot day while spooling the turbo ALOT, never gets hot.
  20. I was able to fit a legacy radiator into my EA-81 wagon, wassn't to hard, had to make custom brackets but all in all with a welder on hand took like 15min. to get it done.
  21. Does it click at a stand still just idleing or when it's moving?
  22. Nice, that is put togeather a little nicer! Thanks man
  23. i usually replace the studs on all my subies eventually couse of this problem, the studs i like to use are a standard coarse threan into the head and a fine thread on the pipe side, and thredlock the hell out of em, havn't has any problems with them since.
