  5. what about breaking? when i break it shakes like the rotors are warped all n all i like ur ride.. the lift demands respect:lol:
  6. awesome.. it lights up too:lol:
  7. same here i get the shakes around 80mph my fronts click a little when the car is cold.. i dont believe the currnet rims and tires on mine are the best for higher speeds either i though about putting the new humvee shock strips on my ru to help the vibration
  8. yep i traded my DS650 (quad) for it:grin: update! got the day lighters mounted!!
  9. ill come help sometime if ya want. i didn't finnish the paperwork the retention nco got a phone call and was gonna make me late to meet Justin to pick up my bumpers so i left to come back another day.. yes im re enlisting the swing gate is coming off it does not jiggle or anything, i just open the hatch alot.. ill throw the spare on the roof rack.. and id never let it get rusty im pretty good about that kinda stuff. i have to weld tabs on the roof rack so i can mount the day lighters my buddy (works at subaru) got me this:rolleyes: heres the most recent work on the subaru two rubber pieces the inner one is a cropped spark plug boot and the outer is a chevy valve cover pvc plug. they are being used as a stopper for the boot wire frame i made to keep the boot on the plastic at the bottom i did get another 4WD knob for my shift knob cause its shorter and more comfortable to me my gf sewed up the boot for me (she loves the coach fabric )
  10. it bugs you that much? then ask to have it moved. im sorry... if you dont like whats going on GET THE ************ OFF THE THREAD you dont have to read or post. i was tryin to make friends on here and its guys like you that ************ it up. just get outta here and stop the diarrhea mouth im going to the subaru meet and id like to feel welcome i dont want problems with you or anyone else, if you dont like what you see dont read my posts.....
  11. i know what ya mean:rolleyes: But im not done on another note... i haven't installed my rear tail light guards.. i had to cut my exhaust pipe 8 inch's shorter, i installed (front bumper) left and right side lights that shine on the left and right shoulders of the road... if i can tomorrow ill mount up the day lighters... parts/ misc gear to come.. ball hitch for rear receiver, re-drilled flywheel and ej to ea adapter plate, two (one red one black) 6 foot 4 gauge lengths of wire for the glove box power inverter tube mounts will run from the bumper (bolt on mounts) to the "frame" along the skid plate.. and if i can with the ej in it... from the bumper through the grille to the frame
  12. nice rig:) man thats a big lift.. hows it go down the road? get the shakes at all? stiff/rough ride??
  13. ROOF RACK:grin: FRONT BUMPER:banana: (i know ill be removing my grille lights and putting in a new grille) and the REAR BUMPER (i havent put the spare tire swing gate on yet)
  14. good question:lol: ill echo the words I DIDNT POST IT HERE! and this is a lifted subaru you can see that, i hope:rolleyes:. so in a way is a wheeler. i still go off road i just dont beat the $hit out of mine like half of these guys so im sorry if you guys feel that its not a wheeler because of how straight it is or if its the fact that i don't take it down trails that are too small so i have to bounce it off trees, this is my daily driver and i take care of my vehicles. NOTE: i did say its not my wheeler ONLY because your idea of a wheeler is probably my idea of a farm work horse beater rig, I.E. half of the toyotas on CL are "wheelers" and either not street legal most are modded with a chev 350, lifted 12" on 38's and an exo skeleton or had some kid lift it 4-6 inches, throw some half bald 33's and drive it like a pre-runner through the woods. and in one of the posts i believe it says its a snow rig. with all that said when the ej goes in the ea is going in a sand rail frame (a modified one to make it legal AND look good)... yes a 4x4 buggy but its going to be a slow build BESIDES THE BS what cha think about the bumpers?
  15. mounting tomorrow asap pics to follow
  16. i second that for vw.. my gf has an 03 and i refuse to work on it now... i hate VW were trading it in for a subaru:lol: i detailed the crap outta my door jams with a steam cleaner replaced my rear passenger swing arm assembly and painted and installed my hatch door struts
  17. hey now i always modify my ignition... you would too if you saw someone get into your ru with a toyota key:eek: i install a push button and kills witch on every rig

  21. you said break cleaner makes it want to die.. i say thinned gasket.. replace it??
  22. just save your self the trouble and reseal it.. take a temp reading and see if its cookin the gaskets..
