New stainless turbo header
how much would you charge for one for an EA82T with a TD04? Me likey the way it looks at the stock uppipe is gonna take a crap on me the instant I start getting itno it. So I'm in the market:brow:

Some New Pipes
That was one thing I noticed with my TD04 is the whine is extremely loud. I like it. In combination with the BOV and the flutter from the turbo when I let out of the throttle, I get all giddy inside...

My new 87 RX
WOW! I just noticed there's no powersteering and its missing the back seat.... I wonder if the person you got it from knew soemthing about Subarus....

Gas tank removal on a 87 Gl-10.
you will have to jack up the passenger side rear of the car. remove the back wheel and there's a plate in the fenderwell which is the access panel for the filler neck connection in the top of the tank. I would also recommend getting all new hose clamps for the connections because this is the LAST place you want a fuel leak from. And besides, trying to get some 20+ year old hose clamps off are a pain in the butt. yes, 2wd or 4wd, it doesn't matter since they all have the same dent in them for the rear diff.

My new 87 RX
my '89 has the checkered seats:grin: but that's cause my '85 GL-10 sedan parts car had them in it.

I'm back....
well well well, about time you decided to come back. I think I've realized that the dark side of Subarus is the EA82 side. Especially turbos;) Oh, I might have a cheap source for EA82 headstuds. I love having machinest as friends, especially when they have the heat treating connections;)

Gas tank removal on a 87 Gl-10.
drop the mustache bar which supports the rear diff. Then drop out the tank which uses 6 - 12mm bolts and then remove the lines. I had to do a gas tank swap on my RX a little over a year ago. The tank from any EA82 either 2wd OR 4wd will work on a 4wd;)

Some New Pipes
awww how cute! 2.5" is such a cute little exhaust size for the TD04:clap: Now me, I prefer my 3" hehehe:brow:

Cant get engine mounts to line up! (EA82T)
I was gonna ask you if you had the engine mounts on correctly but I didn't think you were gonna be that stupid... Guess I was wrong:horse:

Worst color?

ea82 gl10 seat gadgetry?
There is the regular upright adjustment but there is also something special which came on the GL-10s and the RXs but was an option on some other vehicles. That telescoping arm you talk about adjusts the height of the seat. Either up or down, as in the base. You can see the arm in the closed position in this pic of my RX http://community.webshots.com/photo/302403464/1389939403067339125iQUfUY

Subaru winch
<-- is jealous.... I miss my wagon:(

XT6 spindles, legacy struts, wrong bolts?!
I have no ebrake right now in my RX because I do plan on upgrading to a rear ebrake. It might be easiest and cheapest solution Andy, just put the Legacy knuckles and whatnot back into it so it can be driveable. You should be fine with no ebrake unless you park on nice steep hills...

pics of my legacy
but rory is an old schoolin Subaru nut at heart!

Mouse nest
Yeah I know the feeling! I had a mouse nest under the cowl on my Brat and when I swapped cowls, thats when I noticed it. No wonder my heater had this stinky smell to it:rolleyes:

So close I can taste it!
looking good Brian. Yeah my RX has a 3" downpipe on it right now that ends right under my butt. Louder then crap but I love it. I'm going to be getting an Invidia N1 catback for it here in the next few months so hopefully it won't be as loud.

Will an EA82T midpipe fir an EA81T car?
Just for ***************s and giggles. Was just seeing if it would fit.

Some new shoes for the RX!
ok I've already talked to subaru_styles about it cause he seen them over on the rallitek forum. I'll have to roll my fenders a bit but that'll be later when I get some coilovers and such to bring the ride height of my car down. Offset is about 42mm IIRC. Oh, come on guys, the car in the pic is a mid '90's Legacy...

WRX intercooler installed with pics
right now, since I have yet to mod the fuel system, I'll be running stock boost. I will still be making more power though since the TD04 flows a lot more then the stock IHI RHB5 that was in there. I might have to crank up the boost a bit to make it fun though:headbang:

Spfi Ea81
yeah and I bet Phil's 6 would out run your 6 Jeff... wait, my RX will out run Jeff's 6. My only problem is I won't be able to stop! And there's nothing wrong with being a ricer. I got the lights, rims, bodykit and 3 different colors on my car:D

WRX intercooler installed with pics
I like the way it came out. Granted, she sits a little crooked but that can be fixed with messing around with the piping a bit. Granted you can't see it but my pitch stopper is in there. I think it was for an automatic but I forget what the XT had in it that I got the intake from. I had to modify it cause the clutch fork was hitting it pretty good but all is well. Now that I scored some almost new front axles, some 2 pot calipers and a few other things, I'll be tearing into the front end again to replace some stuff, get my swaybars installed and to make sure everything is tightened down before I really start gettin on it. Oh, I also gotta get the brakes bled, get it registered and get an alignment done. Wow, still a bunch of small crap to do but she runs, and run good she does!

Some new shoes for the RX!
There's a guy here in Laramie with a pretty nice Legacy and he's selling a set of 17's he had on it for cheap ($300). Tire size is a 205/40R17 with lots of tread. I'll hopefully be picking these up in a couple weeks from him when I get some money that a friend owes me. Here's a pic of the rims on his car. I am thinking about getting them powder coated bronze to go with the gold on my RX but I'll have to see how they look first. Then you'll be able to see my 2 pot calipers and drilled rotors in the front:headbang:
