Grabbers are fine, unless you want to do some really serious mudding, and they got me through walker valley just fine. Cost and street use are BIG bonuses. I almost cant hydroplane.
-
Looks funny, but they all do at first. Now you can get some real lift with bigger tires!
-
Have a fat friend stand on the hub while you get 'em in.

Yup, already deleted some dups and bad shots, but: http://s387.photobucket.com/albums/oo319/ericget/

SJR EA82 new white wagon 6" build thread 2009
SoobieDoo replied to Scott in Bellingham's topic in Off Road
Ooooooooo...a clean slate for dents!!! The shotguner will be a great one, as it's already messed up, but it's more of a long-term project. I'll have no part in destroying that car. So what's on the list...wiring harness, weld diff, bumpers? -

Toad=towed. Like behind a RV. Lift depends on how much money you want to spend or your fab skills. A 2" lift is just the cost of some steel tubing and bolts, while bigger can run you many hundreds. Get peugot wheels or drill out 6-lugs for bigger tires. Search and you will find tons of info. Oh...and welcome to the Subaru mecca! -

84K!!! Is that a tow bar I see...maybe it has such low mileage if it was a toad? With the rust involved, I think you should lift and beat it off road. It'd be a darned shame to waste that 4WD as a ricer! -
Lol, it took me a while to get going in that vid, 'cause I had to convince Pam to stay in the car! She was scared and wanted out, but like I was telling her, it's more dangerous walking around in that mud. Only 2 leg drive and a real high center of gravity John, you did that one just right...like I intended to!!!
-
Scott didn't have that problem, aparently. \ / front!!!
-
Great pics guys! Now I finally have some of my car in action. Thanks to Jeff for the great run, and to Scott for the hot dogs. Scott's car in this one: Nice brat, but not with us: The garbage bag raincoat: Shoefly pics: The rest: Good times!!!

New thread now...with pics

Pam and I had a blast!!! Besides a normal amount of body damage, just have some minor rubbing in the front now. Will post what few pics I have tomorrow...
-
Gotcha, see you there Sorry John, that bites! If it was a diff stub I could help.
-
I'll take either, whatever you have the most of. Thanks, ~E

Well, since you did post this in the off road section, I'd say the decision is obvious...lifted wagon!!!

Excellent, did you fix it for him under the condition that he must go this weekend!?!

Window Seal/Rubbers (EA82)
SoobieDoo replied to TheLoyale's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
My work has it, of course. Yes, it's extremely good stuff and a little pricey though. -
HOT DAWGS! Jeff, that spot may just stop me.
-
Fulltime FWD, part 4X. Mine is a 5sp, so yes.
-
Yeah, grabbers in a 215. I looked it up, and they're only 3/32's less in tread depth. Still need to mount up a studded 205 for a spare, find and hook up a 2nd ebrake, re-boot an axle, and hook up my PA to annoy the snot out of you all We'll see what actually gets done!
-
Great, Jeff...too late with the TTIWWP That's a fine, muddy soob there!
-
Almost ready now, Post #95: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=95517&page=10 I think my AT's will do, since they're newish!

Notice something missing? An axle is pulled for street driving...old welded diff I got from Scott!
