  1. I have engines...4wd autos...4wd manuals..I have several engines.

  2. I have several sets of bed chrome..just not any tailgate chrome. Real cheap too.. 6 pieces I believe ...$40

  3. i know that picture,,, mine happened on other side. the tire was flat on ground. looks like yours busted in same area. i replaced mine but before i installed i welded stiffing metal to last longer. i have an arm if you need it..... or a pair for when the right one fails.
  4. those are long shocks!!! i found this thread last night, and think your doing a great job and is a great project that thinks outside the box. i put a brat on early bronco frame that fits 37"tires. wish i would have went with subframe and 4 links. i do have the James Duff rear 4 link though. i did notice y-pipe exhaust seems close to upper links, but picture may be deceiving me., could you post picture with tires so i can see completed stance:grin: i have 5 more brats in backyard so another monster is in my future. right now doing an ej22 swap and a complete stock rebuild to another brat. keep the posts coming and more once its completed,, dont let the haters bring you down... i sure most dont have enough forethought to think outside the boxer engine ,never mind a box !!!!!
  5. I need similar help to my brat....have rear suspension completely apart for paint. Would like to lower by resplining torsion bars a tooth on adjuster..but not sure how to measure...do you set side arms at certain angle in related to torsion tube mounting pads. Ts Front I read cut half a coil or use Turbo springs.but using some coilovers would be real nice
  6. Sorry on delay...I have restored several ...currently doing another.

I have all kinds if parts...most removed and boxed up..I also have 5 complete beats in yard...let me know your needs.. emailing us better for pictures and access for me.

    Fourlofun@yahoo.com

  7. You left me message for taillight or tailgate.?????

Let me know your needs. I have fenders..but shipping is more then they worth.

  8. I not exactly sure.but 12 volts to coil and choke should be enough. coil 12 volts.with 2 wires from distribuor to coil also.
  9. For my time. To disassemble ..and other related parts. $75 shipping included...if can broke. Hopefully block still good....I would definitely disassemble and figure out what parts you actually need...I will send anytimg you need...just sucks that engine so much to ship.
  10. Get a book...take apart engine.sell lift kit to buy parts to repair engine. I can take apart one of my many spare engines for a cam shaft. get it running.g again and worry about lift afterwards ..lift kit and nonrunning engine does you no good. I would go with some sort of plywood covering to protect from hail. Get it apart!!!!!!!!!!!! I was just in Enid Oklahoma last 2 weeks...work next is at national weather service in Norman Oklahoma ....I could pack a part
  11. What a jerk off! !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your so helpful.................
  12. Just checked all CL for Oklahoma ..81 in Okc...but that's nit same one..looks like a nice one though.... Monday I. Make contact in Enid and see if for sale..lol
  13. Same brat. Same brat store.same brat time....going to CL now and be there Monday to speak w fellow brat owner .......who knows I may drive a brat to NH ...
  14. I will be traveling country next few years upgrading Doppler radar sites.. this is my first stop and already had a brat siting...Co worker wouldn't stop....I k ow fire him...... so is the owner here or does any one know him? It was silver I think with a cap and non factory rear bumper. hope to see again
  15. I got several. But a 150 lb. Package from NH to ok. $800.00. And I know it weighs more then that
  16. There are So many "smart" people here.........so glad their willing to help younger or less knowledgable people ...instead you may as well just make them feel like complete idiots. Arrogant jerks
  17. I would reply and help some but would need to run my advice through the all knowing great one. Elmo Shawn w.!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. I got mine at advance auto...bosal #256-854... Had to go to 3 auto stores
  19. Register. Inspection. Insurance. Vanity plates 4x4brat..good to go for another year..
  20. Yeah front and rear bumpers. a.bars.I thought of building a plow setup too w a ATV plow..... An exhaust would be cool too
  21. Purple power is a good one........or an engine degreaser. At the auto store.....spray on cold engine let soak.rinse.repeat as necessary. put bag over distributor and still be careful not to soak distributor..if doesn't start after rinse.remove dis.cap and dry...
  22. Get under it and look!!!!!!!!! Could be as easy as loose oil filter. Mostly likely oil pump gaskets.orings. could be crank seal too or oil pan ...or???? Rear main. may have to wash area to pinpoint.
  23. It has one. Its saftey device.so when engine not running fuel pump shuts off and doesn't pump fuel to possibly disconnected fuel line. As in an accident ..... it is located on interior above hood release handle. As GD said. Possible to blue box or black.... and he's obviously right about 6 pin connector ..I said. 8 but havemessed or seen mine in years...my bad.. So listen to GD...negative side of coil to yellow wire at fpcu. And check for power to pump while cranking.
  24. Its a black box above hood release handle.about 8 wire plug...I believe the larger blue with black strip goes to pump...jump the two wires together and bypasses "the black box"
