  1. This is what I'm planning on doing with mine.
  2. That reminds me, I have an exhaust leak I need to fix on my wagon.
  3. Well, the meet I was trying to put together for the 11th looks like a bust. So, I think I'm going to make the drive up for this one instead. Gotta get my weber and rear discs on before then to help cope with the freeway drive. Haven't seen anyone mention a time to meet up yet.
  4. Bump for interest. Anyone know they're coming out for sure?
  5. I wasn't able to come up with anything near there in my searches, thus the reason I opted to do the meet up here again. Maybe one of the members in that area can lend some ideas. What sort of axle problem are you having? I have some spares from my turbo wagon I could bring with me, just in case.
  6. Original post updated. Let me know if you think you're going to make it and I'll add you to the list.
  7. One last bump before I just stick with the same spot off of Exit 63 as the last meet. Here's a link from mapquest to give everyone an idea: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?formtype=address&addtohistory=&address=%5b670%2d753%5d%20Jones%20Rd&city=Winlock&state=WA&zipcode=98596&country=US&location=2xJ7szC6%2bcbl8dPHY1STxGW0oSYl%2bwlwlamAB4hRPylQQHOMm9YrtbWyknxWoAZaJjmt0wU0gdjoR%2fEiN374gWi3%2b4O7lX9bZERDgUyo4u6auuwnKPTiYzNDLfYDBpff8HT0Y8Pi%2fgw%3d Basically, the County Road turns into logging roads and sidetrails that look like they go on forever. It's pretty central to most folks and had some nice muddy spots we didn't get into too far last time out.
  8. Looks like tons of fun. That would make a good location for a board get together.
  9. Still looking for location ideas; does anyone know of anyplace near St Helens or the coast even? There's one spot near my house in Cinebar, this time of year you'll hit snow about half way up it.
  10. :-\ I'm just saying, there are plenty of other threads in there that would have been better suited for Meet & Greet too. (Just two I found right off the bat: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=50089 & http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=51204 ) I'll keep the my Offroad posting to just vehicle stuff from here on out. :-p Edit: 1 yr and 11months, thank you.
  11. Umm, ok. This was about trail locations and suggestions. Figured it was better in Offroad than Meet and Greet. I guess someone is being picky all of the sudden about post in Offroad.

I have 15" rims with Super Swamper TSLs in 215/85 on my wagon with a 4" lift. With a hydro lifter ea81 and the stock carb it'll do 60+ down the freeway. It took a lot of trimming and bashing to get them to fit comfortably though.
  13. Ok, I'm trying to organize a trail run in Meet & Greet, but I'm having difficulty finding a spot to get together. Any of you offroad gurus know of some spots south of Olympia? In my searching I've come across two places, Elochoman and Jones Creek, but I know nothing about them. Thanks all. Update: Looks like Jones Creek is closed until May 1st. :-\
  14. Really, that's a bummer. What were you driving? Edit: Next time I'll give out my cell # ahead of time so people can call and let us know if they need us to wait for them. Sorry.
  15. I live out in the Onalaska/Cinebar area. I could come take a look at the car and give you a better idea of what's going on. I also have a couple motors, one ea82 and two ea81s(one needs a headgasket) that I'm looking to get rid of pretty soon.
  16. Since the February meet didn't get much turnout, I figured I'd get a head start on a March meet. When: Saturday March 11th. Meet up at the park and ride at Noon? Where: Same as last time. Meet up at Exit 63 and then head out to the logging roads on Jones Road in Winlock. Map Here: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?formtype=address&addtohistory=&address=%5b670%2d753%5d%20Jones%20Rd&city=Winlock&state=WA&zipcode=98596&country=US&location=2xJ7szC6%2bcbl8dPHY1STxGW0oSYl%2bwlwlamAB4hRPylQQHOMm9YrtbWyknxWoAZaJjmt0wU0gdjoR%2fEiN374gWi3%2b4O7lX9bZERDgUyo4u6auuwnKPTiYzNDLfYDBpff8HT0Y8Pi%2fgw%3d
  17. Well, the only two to show up were myself and EA82Loyale, but it was fun nontheless. My wagon performed great for it's first time out and his 2wd sedan got in and out of places that were equally impressive. And, I only went through 2 fans, 3 alternators and broke 2 brake bleed screws trying to get ready in time. I'm going to start a thread for a March get together, hopefully we can get a stronger turn out this time around.
  18. Just my luck, my weber is arriving today, and I won't have time to install it before Saturday. Hopefully you guys can make it, the more the better. I don't have a radio.
  19. Looking good. Those rims look good, how much trimming did you have to do in the rear?
  20. I'm pretty sure that EA82Loyale's car isn't lifted either. I think you'll be ok.
