  1. k I will and ummmm lemme think on that and also do you have a rear bumper and a fuel door floating around per chance? the fuel door needs to be 3 x 6 1/2 inches cause of that is one thing I would like to have
  2. ok #1 yes for the 76 wagon, #2 all the doors including the rear hatch lol, and #3 New or replica cause the used/original route would be scarry cause of being almost 30 years old 75Skunkaroo and I have been looking around for those door seals for awhile and can't find them at all and luckily the rear hatch and windshield window gaskets are easier to get cause of being aircooled vw parts
  3. shall I say OOPS! why not do the type 2 cv conversion cause it's cheaper and also you can get the cup easily for the tranny and then just need to get the modified stub axles to accept the type 2 cvj's and heck why not convert to the type 2 tranny too cause of strenght and rigidity
  4. a simple way is save the other 2 tags on the brat that is being scrapped and then transfer the tags on the door jam and the dash to their appropriate spots using aluminum pop rivets that look like the originals heck when I got my 76 registered here from washington they only looked at the door and dash vin #'s
  5. yeah what Northwet said and might check your timing it might be off and that is one of the cheapest things you can do if you already have access to a timing light
  6. is it the original beetle or is it a super beetle? cause if it's a standard beetle just yank out that spare tire and cut a good size hole and mount it there and then pending how you want it you can make some shaped holes in the trunklid and then insulate the rest of the trunk from drafts or louver the hood and so it's still steathy and such 91loyale how did you cut your middle finger off?
  7. yes it originaly had the dreaded EA-63 1400cc motor in it and I havn't seen a difference between the EA-71 and the EA-65 yet and the people that have driven it have noticed how peppy it is and that is saying alot considering some of the few drive cars with EA-81's and EA-82t's but when it goes down for rebuild it is gonna get a few more ponies under the hood ala RalliTek's and Oddcomps help and hey since your restoring that where the heck can you find the door weatherstriping that goes around the door entrance to seal the door and window?
  8. I was the only one there that had a Subaru rally team USA hat and a black flight jacket
  9. I was just asking for information about that certain motor cause I do have one and don't have any information about it don't really need one more thanks just need information
  10. hey what time were you there? cause I was there till like 3:05 cause had to goto work and someone commented that there was a Black skyline that came by a few days ago and was asking about some performance stuff
  11. there was never a 3rd seat option and I would say GET IT cause that is one of those rarities that it is a 90 loyale with the turbo period and to top that off with full time 4WD and then being a touring wagon on top of that it is as rare as hens teeth so if he has gone through that car all the way I would say that is a good deal on that
  12. k I will try to find one but as I said the 77 and older vehichles are rare around here too and that is the front end of my 76 4WD and hey since your over int Israel did you guys get a EA-65 engine imported there from 79-86 per chance? if so I would love to get any and I do mean any info on that particular engine cause that's what is in the 76 right now and I know it's a 1300cc motor and produces 65 HP but that is it period
  13. or I just cheat and use the dikes that I cut with to strip them or use a knife (and that is the "be careful with what your doing with that knife safety warning")
  14. have you fiddled with it? and it looks like a mislabeled power mirror switch
  15. k thanks for at least sayin something and those coasters would be COOL! and I can't get enough stickers just ask the guys that have met me and have seen the 76! lol or the freezer in the garage or the computers or...... can you say I am sticker happy lol and if it takes time it takes time no hurry Paul and I will remind ya if it's like 6-9 months down the road lol
  16. and 74,75, and 76 too! there I stood up for you skunkaroo
  17. well all but my 76 has their headlight switches switched to on all the time no matter what cause of they turn off with the ignition (that's why the parking light switch sios cause of some places in the world that is required if you have the ignition off and are parked in some situations) and I agree what is up with these guys that run only their parking lights on that is plain dumb
  18. yeah I would say so Turbone lol and I was the only board member there except for Mark Saunto (but that is because his shop is close by lol) that I know of and the only old schooler representing for the RalliTek forum too
  19. ummm even bug motors? I thought they were 1-4-3-2
