I have a good hard one for you guys
when i did my engine / trany swap into my wagon. i had the same problem, whoever had the car before me put one of those clips on the VSS wire to tap into it for something... well long story short, it broke the wire inside the plastic and through a VSS code, and would not rev up. once that was fixed it runs like a dream now. -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com

ANYONE EVER RUN 26/27s ON AN EA82 TURBO?
ive got 28's on my lifted Turbo Wagon. if i were to do it again... i wouldnt... if you do dump the 3.7 trany and try to find a 3.9. the turbo has plenty of power on the street, but has no low end torque in the mud/hills. -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com

Axle question from WCSS8

Legacy turbo on non-turbo Sube?
the WRX has never had a 2.2l engine (that i know of). it has always been a 2.0l, JDM 1993 till present, USDM 2000 till 2006 in 2006 it went to a 2.5l, the USDM STI has always been a 2.5l. but the "most reliable" trubo engine is up for debate... -=Suberdave=- www.suberdave.com

5 bolt conversion
i beleave the wheel side is the same on all EA-82's the only differeance is the trany side. turbo=25 N/A=23. i know for a fact that turbo EA-82 and XT6 are the same, as well as early JDM WRX (93-96). and all are 25 spline at the trans. -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com

87 GL10, hood cable ?s
yeah i have had to put new cables on 3 of my GL's now. any ea82 cable should work fine. just look at the new/used one and make sure the wires are not fraying at eather end. not to hard to do should take you about 15 min. out and 15 min. back in. -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com
