  1. Welcome to the board and congratulation beating me by seconds! I really wanted it, but you were better at sniper than I'm. If you want to get a body lift, try to contact Mudrat79(go click on members on the tab and goto section "m" for his boardname. Then there should be contact information.) He's the only guy who makes lift kits for newer model. And if you decide not to use the spring lift, let me know. Thanks Dan
  2. I think I will be out on this one. Since my Brat is waiting to be an offroader, I will keep my outback as daily driver. Dan
  3. This would take away the awd system my outback correct?
  4. Would they bolt up to ej25 engines without mod?
  5. How much you do think I have to spend for one including shipping? And if you do get them, would they be going to your house? Thanks
  6. wait...haha I just check their website...they got em now. Thanks
  7. Where did you get the scorpion springs and how much were they? I know isrperformance.com used to have them but ever since they changed their website to renickmotorsports.com, they are longer available. Thanks dan
  8. Do any of them come with seatbelts for jumpseats? Thanks btw i was wondering if you are going to throw away those license plate, you can send em to me..I'm a license plate collector One day I hoping to have all the states' license plate hanging on my wall
  9. Did anyone from board recieved the sample plate from Subarino? Dan
  10. Yup. I think it was this tuesday that I saw an old gen subie for the first time since I moved to Michigan. I mean old gen subies are rare in places like here where it snows every other days and salty roads. I was on I-94 eastbound going to school and saw it. It was a light blue gl sedan...(can't specify it...I just saw a subie emblem and gl emblem) Does anyone know who own this vehicle? Thanks Dan
  11. I will try to be there but get guarantee it. Because I'm sooo busy this week. Things to do: call the adjuster for my dad's Honda CR-V, take the CR-V to a body shop to get it fixed(rear-ended). Call my health insurance to find out which chiropractor to go to(my back is not doing so well from the accident) Once the car is fixed, do oil change. Then once that is done, get a new windshield...There is a huge crack. Dan
  12. I'm live in Michigan too and I'm working on my outback! I can't feel my toes ...Note to myself..Wear two layers of socks. Dan
  13. Is that mean you would choose ej18 swap over ej22??
  14. I do know it has been done with Austin's wagon. I was just wondering which would be worth more on down the road in future. I believe the cost of the plates made by Mudrat exceeds $500 and of course cost of the ea82 D/R tranny going into EJ series vs EJ series with its factory tranny...(Cost of the tranny: $400, cost of the shipping from overseas: ....dont know how much but expecting to be high, cost of off-roading my outback with D/R tranny: priceless.)Dan
  15. But with adapting ea82 d/r tranny onto Ej's requires some sort of adapting plate. If you don't have proper tools/machines and fab skills to build your own, it would cost you some doughs to get one from someone who sells them.Dan
  16. Now that ISRperformance.com has became renickmotorsports.com, where can I purchase off-road parts for newer gen subarus??? I have been saving money to buy scorpion springs for my outback wagon, but now those springs are no where to be found...I know xcceleration.com sells both the lift kit and springs together but it is bit expensive... Thanks
  17. Just looking at the pictures, I assume the car hit the bolder from driver side only? If that is true, then I say the air bag only deploys when majority of the impact was done to the center of the front end?? My 98 outback ran into a back of a semi (the bar) with passenger side on a highway (probably I was going about 60-65 mph) and air bag didn't deploy. Well but than again, the momentum of the truck and my car was the same direction, just that I was going about 10 mph faster than the truck. Hope this helps Dan
  18. According to Austin, it seems like ej22 conversion into older subarus doesn't necessarly need d/r tranny. He didn't really specify the reason why, but it would be best to ask him and find out. If that is true, you don't have to spend time and money making an adapter plate or spend money on buying one. Dan
