  1. in the EA series the 2wd struts are much shorter than the 4wd struts. For a legacy I'd look at early wrx or the like.
  2. The proper size tire is one that has the right diameter. On most EA82 cars that is 23.2" this matches up with 185/70/13 195/60/14 and 205/50/15. Look at the diameter of the tires that are listed on the door and match that you should be able to find what you need this way.
  3. I guess its time to start looking for lugs then
  4. has anyone re-tapered the lug holes to use standard conical lugs?
  5. here's my RX from this weekend
  6. I took some better photos of my new ride height and I installed some better front seats out of a GL 3 door (didn't take pics of that)
  7. vagen replied to vagen's topic in Rally/Racing

  8. I kind of figured that would be the answer.
  9. It's been years since I last got mud on the roof... I used to run with the ORG in my 76 B210. Perhaps some of you remember myself or my kid brother who has a blue 86 GL hatch. here's my B210 tossing mud
  10. early S-10 v6 radiators are a good fit
  11. in an effort to gain overall track width I am looking for some 1/2" wheel spacers but I don't know where to start. Any one have any ideas?
  12. new front struts (xt4 fwd) and a big adjustment on the coil overs. its lower now but has about 2" more travel. Sorry for crappy cell phone pic.
  13. rule of thumb (not always true but usually is) when your front control arms are flat you are as low as you want to go. this keeps the roll center on the right side of CG.
  14. This car used to belong to JWX it was built using help from Will and Rankins. Many parts came from a GRM Challenge car including the strut tops and from what I hear (might be wrong) engine. it also has a modified TWE down pipe, big exhaust XT6 bars, coil overs, and revalved shocks.
  15. I upgraded my intercooler from this to this it should make a bit more power now that the charge will be cooler
  16. there are a few left in stock if you know who to ask and what names to drop.
  17. There's a set with center caps in the for sale section
  18. look at what you would suspect. Washer filler, tail lights, washer nozzle, even license plate bolt holes. anything that breaches the metal is a potential leak
  19. spoilers on these are known flood producers as well... mine was
  20. well let us know where you are located and I am sure someone will offer to help thats the kind of folks I've found on here.
  21. how about just popping a set of gaskets in there and having it all better its cheaper than a new car
  22. I loaded the race tires , installed the smaller big track spoiler and ran through the usual pre race checks. After work it's off to the races. I'll post photos and video Tuesday.
