  1. is it just under braking...or acceleration as well?? If you have an auto beware torque bind:banana:
  2. well behind exhaust heavy cars that will happen... if it is doing it all the time.....i would check two things exhaust leak: check your exhast around the headers and catalytic converters for cracks or leaks that may be blowing exhaust out prematurely. Also if this is happening you will start to get sick so i would check this pretty quick Oil leak. THere may be an oil leak that is leaking down on your exhaust and burning off as it gets hot....see if there is any fresh oil on your exhaust... hope this helps Cory
  3. autos are more problimatic than 5MT....try to drive before buying....if you can, get up to highway speeds see if you notice a clunking sound or see if the tranny slips like the devil....anyway sounds like a great price.....wonder why??
  4. Have a few questions for some of you who might know, i recently got my hands on a 2002 RS 5MT this is the hydraulic setup. it will go into my 97 impreza Here are my questions 1. Can the hydraulic setup be replaced with a cable setup ( i havent got to look at the subaru hydraluic setup before) via a new fork etc? 2. Will my shift linkage, work the same? 3. Are the transmission length dimensions the same? i have a 5MT out of a 91 legacy in my impreza at present and am wondering if the driveline will work.... 4. Also any good leads on hydro pedals and cylinders would be good...thanks Cory
  5. if you totally remove the driveshaft on the transmission side and jack it up too far it will leak out the shaft in the rear....be careful
