Tire size Justy
hehe, I like the dusty justy thing, just what I told the wife when we honeymooned in Kauai and a justy was included in our package and it was full of red dirt, got across their parking lot and turned around and upgraded to a 5.0 litre mustang conv, that got us into traffic quick:)....this was over 20 years ago, maybe they have improved

gen1 ecu interchangeability ?
My donor legacy has a bad ecu, its a '90 legacy 5 spd awd and has pn 22611-aa562 ( B9 ) . I have an ecu from a '92 legacy with part number 2611-11930f ( F9 ). I didnt pull the ecu from the '92 and I havnt been able to go from part number to application or determine if they are transmission specific. Has anyone found a part number to model, year, trans etc or know if the '92 would be compatible with the '90? They have the same plugs but two different manufacturers which might explain the different part numbers.

T'sunami Wagon
I plan on running twin fans and a waic radiator in front Bennie. Most likely ill have to ditch the hood latch and go with hood pins.

Nice:grin:- Seattle Area (and whoever else wants to show up) meeting
Im out for the 28th, its my 22nd anniversary and also my daughters wedding day, but ill definately catch up at a later date.- Seattle Area (and whoever else wants to show up) meeting
Id be in for meeting more members, and I wasnt aware there were regular get togethers. It doesnt look like ill have my project finished by the next wcss but when I start working again ill be hanging out in Burien during the work weeks with an xt6 as my dd. Im in:)- cooling fans
Looks like they would fit just fine and leave just enough room for a waic radiator, Ill get back with you.- cooling fans
Any opinions on switched vs continuous ?- cooling fans
I have to ditch my condensor, im running fans in front of the radiator and also have a waic radiator to fit somewhere up there too. Im pretty sure the hood latch is a goner also.- cooling fans
Thanks for the heads up.- T'sunami Wagon
I spent most of the day trying to finish up my shift linkage. I received an ea82 5 speed shifter with the ej 5 speed i bought, it had been short shifted. My 4" lift just screwed with me, it was either the transtunnel boot holding me up, driveline clearance or the console. After a few in and outs, and a couple different anchor brackets I decided to dig out the gen 1 leg shifter I grabbed from a donor for my sons future rx ej conversion. I had tried buying a short shifter but no one references one for gen1 leg's, scooby mods offered to try to set me up with a kartboy by comparing dimensions, etc. In my search I ran across this post on rslibertyclub, its pretty messy but the important info is pulling the pivot ball and adding additional length. During a visit to GD's last summer I asked if he could short shift it for me. He must have had at least 4 different diameters of round stock, and said no prob. I had him add 1" below the pivot and man, I have 1 1/2 " travel at the knob from neutral to any gear, no boot or console issues other than the console boot, it gives me more resistance than I like so its soon to be leather. in neutral it sits centered in the console now:)...and I got grease on the seat:mad:- cooling fans
Im interested:) Ill do some measuring this morning. Whats the max thickness ? 2.5 thick according to their website but I didnt see this style and cfm rating. Whats your asking price? - Weird pukegoat steel wheel washers / nut
