  1. I sent an email...but it got sent right back to me saying 'failure' of some sort to deliver it.
  2. mine does that too.... I'll have to try some things then.
  3. i'll get a price sheet. I myself am ordering a EA82 head bolt socket...its abuot $5 more to get it from tihs company than SUBARU...as subaru doest have ANY service tools anymore...they contract thru this company now it seems... I'll get a price sheet hopefully.
  4. This is going to be a group buy....but there is no min buy in. I can get ALL the service tools you can imagine for ALL of the subarus. I dont have prices right now...im waiting on a price sheet. how much interest do we have for this?
  5. the lincon mark VIIIXLMCXVIIIII is on a 'road' stalled out (which i later pushed out of the water with the RX) and the RX is playing around in the body shop parking lot at Folgers in Charlotte. this was back in July/AUgust at some point.
  6. I NEVER stopped runing...and it was in completely stock form at the time. Horray for Old School SUBARUs!!
  7. no name for the RX yet...?? mine get called....etiehr cars or subarus.
  8. It IS the lack of cats, and the ecu is a little different for the EGT instead of the O2 setup.
  9. The Folger Group but pipes are at folgers. Call Folger SUBARU at 1-704-536-9635, ask for MIKE MELTON You will need to talk to him for shipping and etc...I am OUT OF THE LOOP NOW.
  10. So...autox buddy has an 87 carbed D/R wagon... He says the axles click when turning sharp...and the car just suddenly started pulling to the left some weeks ago...I had a DL that did this and the outer CV's were all F*ed up. So, i figure its the axles, and we get all the boots and grease to re build them. Well, I get there, and the boots are perfect. No sign of grease anywhere. BUT...sharp turning on pavement..aka only at FULL LOCK...you can hear the CV's click a little...none too bad as the RX's axles has done this before...and it doesnt pull or anything. It pulls to the left. It is not dependent on brake/accell...it just goes there. I figure, it might be alignment...so i tweak the left front in some. Its better....but still does it. I cant hear any wheel bearing noise, or any axle noise on accell...no abnormal noises or what not. Its got 145k miles on it. Could it really be the axle(s) causing this? other than at full lock, they are quiet...and even at full lock they barely click. Didnt see anything bent either...so...im all out of ideas. anyone?
  11. i'll call folgers tomorrow and see if the folger shipment arrived.
  12. X3011AA080 is the clutch kit, i finally found it...but its for non turbo 4wd car cars....doesnt look like a turbo one is avalible for those with turbo cars...like me. anyhow..i can get it to you for...$145+ shipping.
  13. You guys need to remind me to get the RX on the dyno and results posted up before feb starts. there are a couple of places that I can get to on a saturday...its just a matter of getting the car there and doing it. Ya'll get on my case about it, im sure everyone here wants to know that the car is doing and I sure as heck do too.
  14. the best thing for you if you are not going to be doing serious off roading or performance driving..aka just basic day to day driving is the OE kit. when I get back from lunch I will quote you a price on a complete 'everything you will need' kit for it.
  15. neato. now you need to work on brakes, tires, and suspension...and you are set!
  16. Yes. But at that point...you are going to need to be thinking about having a spare tranny laying around...or taking the RX box apart and put some more strenght into it. the EJ boxes are better due to the center diff package...and they will hold more power right out of the box.
  17. I agree...but I think under high stress...aka turbo charging and/or higher heat operating temps...it woudl fail just like the turbo ones do when pushed too hard.
  18. The MAF has screens on both sides of it.
  19. I honestly dont think the turbo being so close to #3 has anything to do with the failures. VW flat 4s had issues with cyl#3 cooling, and they were not turbo'ed.
